Visit period: Oct 2021 . ⚠️ (Pork Free) . . Finally trying this place! Reviews on Google were at 4.1, but why not, since queue at Strangers47 was long. So Omulab it is! The place isn't so packed and we were immediately being served to a table and a waiter was on standby to take our orders. . Atmosphere was simple and quaint filled with customers voices. Was having a hard time deciding on what to eat because the stomach was indecisive but ended up with a Classic Tamago Sando (Egg sandwich) and the partner went with the Omu Kare (Classic omu rice). . The food was alright. Omu Rice tasted good, with a side of japanese curry and sambal. However the egg sandwich was a disappointment. First, it wasn't as per the illustration shown. Illustration show sandwich, but the food came it was like a burger. What a BIG difference! 😤 second, the eggs wasnt sous vide as mentioned either!! This is a huge problem because what was marketed isnt as per what was being served! Ugh. Well, at least the partner was happy with his Omu Rice. . For drinks we had a cappuccino and a double chocolate each. Drinks are always to be served before your meals arrived. That's what the standard should be (in my opinion). But my cappuccino was served halfway through me munching on my "burger", and the double chocolate was served AFTER the partner finished his meal. 😤 it's not a big glass either so, no idea what went wrong. . Overall i would say dining experience was so-so. Food and drinks was 3/5. There are so many aspects in which the entire experience, food and service can be improved though. That said, at least i gave it a try 🤣 . . . Worth: ⭐ ⭐ Price:...

First off, this is a review of their food delivery and not dine-in.
We are no stranger to this restaurant which is our go-to for simple and value for money meal. We know what to expect every single time we order and we have rarely been disappointed.
Service: We placed the order via a third party app which was pretty straight forward.
Packaging: Ordinary take away boxes.
Hamburg Steak (RM 32.89)
As always, we requested for slightly more sauce (Japanese Curry & BBQ Black Pepper)for plating which they provided in plastic containers separately. Not only were they pleasing to the eye but were absolutely fragrant and addictive. The Japanese curry is a little flowy unlike some which are pretty thick but its a pretty personal preference. In this case, it worked for us. The BBQ Black Pepper however was pretty spicy and peppery. Though we really enjoyed it, we used up a fair bit of tissues too.
This time, we opted for Tomato Japanese Fried Rice. Though it had a nice and smooth texture, there was a wee bit too much tomato hence the rice was a little sour. That said, with the generous amount of sauce, it was balanced off nicely. The Hamburg steak was cook perfectly with a slight tinge of pink on the inside but nicely charred on the edges. Topped with an egg and some vegetables giving the dish some colour.
Recommended? Although every once in a while we do enjoy surprises, most of the time, we would choose a safer and predictable meal knowing we won’t go hungry over a fancy looking meal that could go very wrong

We were greeted by friendly servers who guided us to use their online menu. We had the following items: Omu Mentaiko and Ebiko with Soft Shell Crab MYR48, Bestseller Chicken Namban MYR20, Omu Demiglace MYR25, Omu Grilled Salmon Ochakuze with Mixed Vegetables MYR38, U.L.T.I.M.A.T.E. Double Hamburg Beef Donburi MYR45 and Double Chocolate (Dark and White) MYR14.
The Jiggly Fuwa or Lava Omelette was expertly executed. A slice up top would make the hot, golden, liquid filling with some solidified egg bits flow like lava rocks on your fried rice. Just this alone is a treat in itself. Imagine the combination of warm, creamy egg hitting the salty, sweet and savory fried rice with chicken or pork bits that contribute to a good mouthfeel.
Among the dishes we had, I particularly enjoyed the seafood based ones especially the Grilled Salmon that had salmon two ways. I also liked the Soft Shelled Crabs paired with the Omu Mentaiko (Pollock roe) and Ebiko. The U.L.T.I.M.A.T.E. was a bit of a letdown because I've tasted better. It was hefty though. If I'm not mistaken that was a couple of 1/3pound patties or a total of 0.66 pounds of beef.
Their Double Chocolate was a sweet treat that reminded...
