Three Stooges Jaya One — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I visited Three Stooges Jaya One on 20/12/22 with colleagues from my company to entertain some work partners. We had a reservation for 630pm for 7pax.

I arrive first with one colleague and ask the waiter to bring some beers from some previous coupons that I have, from 4-5 months ago if I'm not mistaken.

He says they have expired as the validity is only 3 months, but as I was not told this nor that it was written on the coupons, I insisted on getting 5 beers for my 5 coupons.

I ask him for the manager, and the waiter then calls Mark who offer 3 beers for my 5 coupons. I tell him again that since i was not told of this validity and that it wasn't written on the coupons, I want 5 beers.

He mentions something about a supervisor later and leaves the table. At this stage, one of our guests from the other company arrives and my colleague advises me its better to compromise instead of continuing the matter. So, i call back the original waiter and accept 3 beers for my 5 coupons.

At this stage, Mark now refuses to give me 3 beers and says I can only have 2. I go to the bar to ask him about this and remind him that the offer for 3 came from him.

He says I must have been told about the 3 months validity even though i wasn't, at which point I ask "If it doesn't say on my paper, is it my fault or the bar's fault?".

His response is "It's your fault because you never come back fast and drink". This is absolutely ridiculous and i tell him this. He shows me a newer coupon that states only valid for 3 months. I say that's not my problem because mine didn't say that, so it should be honoured.

Mark responds "Ok la we no need to talk so much, take your 3 beers".

Mark is one of the most rude people I have ever come across in the service industry. Forget being apologetic, he is outright disrespectful to customers. He has spoiled the whole image of Three Stooges in our eyes.

We stayed purely because my company were entertaining another company and it would not have looked good if we had decided to walk away. By the way, our bill that day was ~RM480.

While my beer tokens were taken, I still have Guinness tokens from around the same period of time to prove that it does not mention anything about 3 months expiry.

I am very disappointed in this experience. I have come to Three Stooges Jaya One many times, enjoyed myself and spent a lot of money there. What has happened is enough to make me stop...

Food is very slow even only me one customer and the pizza you can see the meet just 5 pcs !! The photo they put in the menu is 9pcs! But give 5pcs only.

Whole restaurant only me one customer take them nearly 60 min for pizza and totally different The menu, need wait again for them to redo.

At first they don’t want redo ask me to take it. Is my fault that I never see before I pay. I have no choice, the staff always reply me the same sentences. Is like this alll customer same.

But one hour ago I pass by this shop I saw a customer pizza is not like this at all, full with golden coin.

You know what after redo there is human hair in it !! And I check kitchen staff not...

It's an alright place to chill. We have been here a couple of times because there are tables outside and it's much more comfortable. The disappointment here was we went there on new years eve and the prices were extremely expensive. Example a half pint of stout was RM220 Nett!!!! When asked the waiter they just said they are following their bosses orders. On a good point this place practices the SOP properly and ensure no over crowding on tables based on the rules set by government. Overall I think this place is a bit more pricey than other same concept places but the main reason for such a low rating is because of the hike in price for...
