Opted for this restaurant for a birthday celebration. Last week's visit to another establishment was awesome hence was hopeful for the same here given the rating.Unfortunately, the same can't be said.
Food wise, there is no complaints. It was good. We ordered quite a bit and took a progressive approach given the plan to stay a bit longer for the live music. All was good. Opted for the margarita as well which was also great. Sweet and tinge of alcohol was very nice.
On to the service which was a bit of an issue. Started off well with happy greetings as we walked in to our reserved table. Things started to go downhill with the waiter assigned to us (shuaib). He was totally unhelpful and had the attitude that we were not welcomed. Explainations of beverage options and food were not forthcoming and unclear. It came to a point when I had wanted to walk out to another joint within the mall to ensure our celebration is not jeapordized. I asked the waiter if he had any issues with serving us as a last resort before moving out. It was then that things changed for the better. I am a bit flabergasted that this waiter whom I had read praises in the reviews behaving this way. Not sure what went wrong at the start but like I said, things took a turn for the better after I confronted him point blank. The team celebrated the birthday song for us and had a complimentary lava cake in addition to the one which we brought. Hence, not penalizing more beyond the 3 star rating albeit it marred the start of a wonderful night
Atmosphere is a tad loud hence talking is a bit of a challenge. Live band plays songs from the 80s i.e. oldies which was good if one likes it.
Altho' the waiter was attentively trying to get us to order more post dinner drinks, we turned it down. We went to another establishment within the mall to...
Read moreFirst of all, very very good food. And almost perfect service. Almost.
Unfortunately, I came with my mother and father, while we wait for my son tuition to finish. We arrived .. 6.45pm? Approximately
Mother ordered free flow taco, I ordered many other items. She had her first taco before the night drinking crowd flock in. Good vibe
Unfortunately... Now at 8.15pm. we are still waiting for the second and third taco from the free flow, as we have finish everything else. We wanted to order prior to the night crowd come in, but were told we must order the taco one after another. I.e finish the current before adding.
I've explain, I have limited time and won't stay long. Denied but was told it will be fast. So we waited... And waited.
Son tuition ends at 830. It's 815 now. Shall we wait and forgo the food? Leave with my hungry mum? Decisions.
This is something that could be considered to be improved :)
Thank you
Update. 8:52pm: I left my senior mum here to wait for the taco, while I went to get my son. Came back. Her 2nd taco just arrived. 3rd taco missing. Asked the person to provide 3rd taco, again, one by one taco to be served.
It's ending by 9pm.

Read moreIf there’s one thing I truly miss, it’s authentic Mexican food—and especially tacos. The moment you bite into a well-made taco, it’s like a little explosion of flavor: juicy, marinated meat, fresh herbs, tangy salsa, and that perfectly warm tortilla wrapping it all together. Simple, yet so satisfying.
Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a Mexican restaurant that brought back all those memories and cravings. The ambience was incredible—rustic wooden tables, colorful tiles, Latin music playing in the background, and even the smell of grilled spices in the air made it feel like I was in a small cantina somewhere in Mexico. The tacos were the star of the show. Whether it was the prawn tacos, beef or fish tacos, each one was packed with authentic flavors. Fresh ingredients, bold seasoning, and generous portions made every bite worth savoring. The house-made salsa was the perfect kick, and the guacamole was smooth and rich. It’s more than just food—it’s the full experience. From the vibrant decor to the warm hospitality, everything reminded me of the soul and spice of Mexican culture. If you ever get the chance, don’t just eat the tacos—feel them. Because a real Mexican taco isn’t just a dish, it’s a...
