Very bad experience for the pre cny set meal we have here as company lunch at 1pm. they skip the proper dish sequence by serving prawn before fish and then no one follow up on the next dish serving even i keep asking every 10min for 3-4times waited 1hr++ they only served lousan, sharp fin soup and prawn.. nearly 2:30pm only 1 off within 10min serve all balance 6 dish which throw like trash on the plate, tasteless for the mushroom beadcurd pot after i behtahan stand still at their counter compaint for another 10min only they really go and check with kicthen told me they overlooked the order.. telling me all those staff just listen and let it be without checking with kitchen.. i question the captain how can it be i asking for so many times still no1 entertaining, you guys just say sorry and expect customer take the consequences of your fault somemore very rude way telling customer what you want now i already say sorry and ask the kitchen serve the order d? Very angry as the 3rd time when i walk to cashier ask for next dish after waited 30min++ nothing serve, got to serve right now as my colleugue need to left by 2:30pm and their staff asking me so you want to take away now is it??! How rude with this type of attitude in service line.. at last some colleugue leave before all meal serve with hunger stomach.. lucky we just ordered the cheapest set at rm1.3k. i admitted that after this case i realise should direct look for the captain at the 1st place but they should also proper train their staff how to proper handle customer and each table serving basic. Read moreA Festive Feast and Culinary Triumph at Unique Seafood PJ23
Our recent company Christmas dine-in at Unique Seafood PJ23 was nothing short of spectacular, a true testament to their culinary prowess and exceptional service. We were pleasantly surprised to find they had already begun offering their Chinese New Year Lou Sang, and the medium portion we shared was absolutely delicious – a vibrant and flavorful start to our meal.
The culinary journey began with a platter of incredibly fresh geoduck, a delightful indicator of the restaurant's commitment to quality seafood. This was followed by steamed tiger prawns that were cooked to perfection, earning rave reviews from everyone at the table. The grilled lamb was another highlight, tender and expertly seasoned, showcasing the chef's skill. The chicken with their signature sauce, while a classic, was executed with finesse and proved to be a crowd-pleaser.
The seafood extravaganza continued with a perfectly steamed fish, crispy fried squid, and two crab dishes that truly stole the show: the sweet and sour chili crab and the salted egg crab. Both were cooked to perfection, with the flavors harmonizing beautifully. Even the fried rice was exceptional, a testament to the attention to detail throughout the meal.
And let's not forget the desserts, which provided a sweet and satisfying conclusion to our feast.
The service was consistently attentive and friendly, contributing to a truly enjoyable dining experience. The comfortable, air-conditioned ambiance added to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
Unique Seafood PJ23 exceeded our expectations in every way. From the fresh seafood to the expertly prepared dishes and impeccable service, this restaurant is a must-visit. We highly recommend it and are already looking forward to...
Read moreI ordered food for 12 people, prawns, a vegetable dish, and vegetarian fried rice and was charged RM 299. While I understand that prawns are expensive, the portion sizes were shocking. The rice wasn’t even enough to feed six average eaters. The overall portions simply didn’t match the number of people it was meant to serve! it was utterly ridiculous.
I tried messaging the restaurant, but got no response, so I called instead. When I finally got through, all they could say was, “Sorry, our portions are small, we don’t have 12 pax portions.” If that’s the case, why didn’t anyone mention this when I repeatedly asked if the order would be enough for 12 people? Their response was our bowls are small i don't know what bowl you are using! Like the audacity i tell you!
They eventually transferred me to William, who is apparently the manager and in the middle of the conversation, he hung up on me. That was incredibly disappointing, especially given that I’ve been to the restaurant many times and know the usual standards and portions. I had to order on grab 10 pax of fried rice to be delivered because my guest didn’t have enough food!
I’m now waiting for them to “investigate” and get back to me. Let’s see what happens. but so far, this has been a frustrating and unacceptable experience.
Update: Mr.William called back and apologised and accepted that the message should have been communicated accordingly and offered to send out another portion of fried rice. I accepted and agreed. I appreciate that you got back and acted on...
