We were here at 10am+ on a Wednesday. Ordered through the McDonald's app and food was delivered fairly quickly. This McDonald's is located between gates A3 and A4. We ordered a Sausage McMuffin with Egg set that includes Hash Brown and a small hot Americano. RM13.16 before tax. We also ordered a Filet-o-Fish set that includes a medium French Fries and a medium 100 Plus with no ice. RM15.33 before tax. The taste is OK, though the hash brown has a bit of the apple pie crust taste, not sure why. I took the Filet-o-Fish with me on to the flight, so at the point of writing this review I do not know how it tastes like. Prices are about 20% more expensive than McDonald's that are not located in the airport. I am not sure why airport outlets must charge a premium for everything but it is what it is. We have a choice to eat or not to eat there, I suppose.

Firstly, I have ordered for a take away fish fillet burger. But unfortunately the cheese slice of the burger I got was dropped out of the burger and stick on the box (as shown in the photo below). Incident like this happened most of the time and caused us unable to enjoy the burger well. Somemore this is not the first time I have experienced such thing at McDonald’s KKIA branch. The staffs always just simply “throw” the cheese on the burger and end up like this. I really hope that McDonald can look into this issue seriously. Thank you very much.

Boooleh lah consider it’s a better option than the other F&B since they have tables and chair and families usually eat here. Food is ok but don’t expect good customer service. It’ll be standard no fuss and you’ll get what you paid for. The floor is usually not clean with spillage or bits of food for some reason, probably due to it having a high traffic and food is not served to you, you will need to collect it from the counter. Located right beside the departure gate so it’s quite convenient.

McDonald's is always at the right place and the right time. Since they opened here, their business has been very good with all the local & international travellers at KKIA. Everytime I fly out from KK, I'll come here to take away a burger for my flight as you know, the food on most airlines are not really good, and takes too long before they serve you. So McD is always my plan. Reasonable prices and same as any other McD.

Came during peak hours, so it took a bit of time to even order, let alone waiting for the food. When it was my turn to order, they haven't yet activate some of the food in the cashier? So need to wait more. I've tried the limited time offer butter cake and choc marble cake. The price is obviously a bit expensive at airport compared to other branches. Taste wise is so-so.

One thing you can count on world wide, with a few tweaks, is that a MacDonalds burger, coffee of breakfast meal will be pretty much the same True here in Kota Kinabalu Sabah Malaysia Borneo. The burger might just be the call as you make it between terminals. Hard to worry about nutrition as you want to make the plane. Take it on with you in fact. Service was good.
