Good Taste Bak Kut Teh Restaurant — Restaurant in Sarawak

This is the third brand of bak kut teh we tried in Miri. We like the soup base, the flavour is reasonably strong. However we find the meat to be too hard to chew. It doesn't come off the ribs. Somehow it feels like the soup and meat are separately prepared, and only upon order, the meat was boiled in the soup. Thus the flavour doesn't get into the meat. The dry type isn't to our liking too.

We ordered pepper pork stomach. The flavour is too light to our taste.

The staff is friendly. The shop is air conditioned and there are plenty of car parks...

The standard of the BKT has deterioted significantly since I was here 2 years ago. The soup is not as tasty as before but satisfactory and the size of the pork ribs are disappointingly small. The overall portion per person is small for the price. The chicken with wine dish lacks flavour and the wine based soup tasted diluted. The stew pork leg tasted alright. The pig innard soup is...

I thibk the bakkutteh degrade a lot.. the soup not my favourite in my dictionary..

The portion is okay.

The kolok mee is no longer the old time kolo mee.. kolo mee used to have those herbal fragrance and chashao..

The stew pork leg, very ordinary..

The Huang Jiu Chicken is recommended..

Won't be my 1st option when I craving for...
