One of the main historical attraction that you shall drop by when you visit Miri. This local temple is 111 years old and had been built to stop epidemic at that time. It is the only building in town center that safe from japanese bombing, city fire and flooding.

Centrally located and near to other local attractions, so not to be missed. There are some ongoing construction works going on in the compound area but the temple itself is open and safe to explore (or to do your worshipping). There is an on-site store that sells prayer materials. Overall, it's a small but beautiful temple steep in a long history. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area.

There is a large statue of Tua Pek Kong and I've never seen anything quite like it in Malaysia. The temple was under renovation but it looks nearly completed. I particularly enjoyed going up to the first floor as it gave me a great view of the temple rooftop and I could see the colourful roof decorations up close. I would highly recommend this...
