It would have been much more enjoyable if the temperature had been regulated better, ensuring a comfortable environment for customers.
Despite this issue, I must commend the staff for their friendly and attentive service. They were quick to take orders and make recommendations, contributing to a positive customer experience. The selection of beverages and snacks was also extensive and satisfying, living up to the Starbucks standard.
In terms of cleanliness, the store was well-maintained, with tidy seating areas and clean restrooms. The ambiance was enhanced by cozy seating arrangements and pleasing background music, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe.

Read moreWe came here for some drinks after dinner today at around 7.25pm. We bought 4 drinks in total and since these were cold drinks, wanted straws so it’s easier to drink. Your staff denied us the straws and forcibly took it away from our hands.
Taking things right out of a customer’s hand is plain rude. This is a behaviour that you’d never expect from any establishment, much less Starbucks. I am not stealing and this amounts to assault.
I do not appreciate your staff telling me I can’t have straws. Is it a written condition that paying customers are entitled to straws only when your staff say so?
I don’t tell you how to run your business and you and your staff should not be telling me how to drink my drink that I purchased, legally, from your store.
If you want to argue about the environment then you should be using paper straws. It’s on you to do better, not on the compromises of your customers.

Due to the border closing around 10 PM and the long queues, I decided to stay at the Marriott Hotel and spend some time at Starbucks Marina ParkCity DT on 21JUL24. It had been a long time since I visited a Starbucks, as there are not many in Brunei, and most Bruneian tend to go to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
Rania was incredibly helpful and friendly during my visit. She willingly offered recommendations on what to eat/drink, provided honest opinions about several food items, and assisted me with a smile, making me feel valued and welcomed. Her ability to answer all my questions with such enthusiasm and professionalism truly stood out.
