Mr. Domus — Restaurant in Sarawak

We ordered the grilled half spring chicken and classic fish & chips. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food, even though the place wasn't too crowded. When the dishes finally arrived, the chicken was undercooked, and the fish had a strong fishy smell. The batter on the fish was also chewy and didn't hold up well. Overall, the food just didn't meet our expectations.

This would be my 2nd time in this week. What I have enjoyed most thus far from their Christmas menu is their oysters. It is very fresh and I love the basil mixture that came with it. It really complemented the oysters. Thus far, all food I have tried are good. The 1st time I came, food took awhile but overall, I am okay with the waiting time for the quality of food I got out of it. I have to compliment the warmth of the staff here. To be honest, I think this shop has changed hands at least 3 times. Hopefully, this western restaurant will last. I was quite full so we ordered a plate of breakfast steak & eggs to share. I'm quite impressed by the plating. The salad on the side I believe is kale which is hard to find in kuching. This one taste fresh. The steak was sliced when served to us, it's pink the center.
