I made a reservation through their WhatsApp number before I came and it was quick and easy. I also placed my food orders beforehand. We came on a Monday night (a public holiday) and the restaurant was packed.
Service: A little slow, but understandable since it was a full house + it was just a day after Mother’s Day. The servers were attentive and friendly despite being busy. We waited around 25 minutes for our food to be served.
Food: The food came one at a time 🥲 so we couldn’t really enjoy everything at once. I really liked their classic sizzling beancurd. The rest of the food in my opinion was just average — delicious but not exceptional. The soup had a strand of hair inside which was detected by the waiter who was serving us. Kudos to him for being honest, he apologised and quickly took the soup away. We had to wait a bit longer for our new bowl of soup to come afterwards.
Atmosphere: The restaurant is two-storey and we were seated upstairs. Even though it was packed, but the air conditioners worked well and it didn’t feel hot. However, it was very loud so we couldn’t really hear each other (not the restaurant’s fault). Loved the interior of the restaurant, many beautiful places to take pictures. The toilet was really clean too!
Overall, I enjoyed my visit. I will come again for the beancurd and will try other...
Read moreEasy to locate. Lots of parking spots but also kinda depends on the hours of the day. First thing is most of the food presentation is great. Manicai noodle is abit too oily for my liking and prawn is not very fresh. Seafood noodle is too starchy. Awesome presentation for lychee prawn and love the mouth feel but nothing to write home for the taste. Huge fan of the butter prawn that comes with the buns. Pineapple pork ribs is not bad as well. Salted egg chicken is OK. Love the beverages with goji berries that are freshly made. Service is quite fast as we didn't have to wait long for dishes to be served. Something to take note of would be to perhaps label the drinks or have the waiter inform us ... cause some of the drinks look the same when served and we had a hard time figuring out which is which. And perhaps ask if we are done with the dish before taking it away. That said, i would like to take a moment to thank this dude in black shirt and earpieces who despite his tons of tasks, took time to make sure my family is having a good time and enjoying everything. Decor and ambience wise, it's pretty good, exuding like a Chinese, upscale and elegant vibe. Place is very clean as well. Overall, I enjoyed my time there... will return to try...
Read moreThis was my first visit to this Chinese restaurant, and I honestly wish I could give more than 6 stars! It was fully packed when we arrived, so I thought we’d have to wait a long time for the food—but to my surprise, the dishes started arriving in under 10 minutes!
We ordered small portions for the four of us, and the amount was just right—nothing wasted, and everyone was full and satisfied. The pricing was also very reasonable.
But the real highlight? The sea cucumber soup. It was rich in ingredients, with fresh, tender sea cucumber and large. And the Oh Jian, juicy dried oysters were Fresh, bsolutely flavorful and satisfying!
The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive. Call them once, and someone is there immediately. The service made us feel very welcome.
