Cons: Menu is not properly printed. Ordered a drink worth of rm10 and charged rm12. I asked the cashier, what price do you see here, he said rm10. Then when I asked why was I charged rm12, he checked with another girl he said when printed, the line was not aligned so, it was not printed properly. How can that be a customer's fault? We pay what we see in the menu. He was trying to justify and then I said you just said it was rm10 and he went on to say he is new. I would understand why he said that, he asked if I want a refund, I said yes and he voided the previous sale and recharged on the card. This is okay but a mistake on your menu and I have to pay twice and wait for 7-14 working days for the money to be refunded? It is rm2 and I could have let it go but it might happen again if they dont change the menu. For rm2, maybe refund with cash would be a better customer experience isnt it? I know how the process of refund works when you pay via card but you may want to relook into it for the experience of your customer because small things like this matter. Going above and beyond for better customer experience. What if I only had that rm140 and you charged me twice because of this and I am left with nothing. I had leftover from my food and left it at the counter while talking about the refund. I went back within 5 minutes and it's not there. Nobody knows where it went. How could it be?? We were the only ones at the place at that time, even when we went back nobody was there. If they have thrown it away as they were cleaning it is fine but it was at the counter and they gave us the takeaway box, how come within 5 minutes it vanished and the whole restaurant doesnt know where it went. I mean at least the person who gave me the box would have known that it's mine. Within 5 minutes you would throw it away or wait for a bit longer in case the customer returns? Everything is money right. I paid for the food. I just forgot to take it from the counter. I dont know if they did it on purpose but I wasnt happy with the whole experience after the incident even if the food was nice. I was excited to go try this place and have been waiting since I heard about this place. From Klang all the way to Batu Caves just to end up with this. Not coming back again.
Pros : Food was nice, the fusion idea on pasta is great! Royal lychee was good. Saw some families with kids, they were happy and excited playing at the place nearby the lights, kids friendly. Good...
Read moreFood choices are quite unique, from pasta, rice meal, burger, bakery goods and etc. The drinks are however more catered to milk based drinks. Seems like they have their own milk production going.
Large "burger gemprek" was what I ordered. The difference from the regular portion is just double patty of crispy chicken. Even a single crispy chicken patty is pretty huge by itself combined with pretty big buns as well. Had to really smash the buns and eat away the the double patty with fork and knife first before it was edible with the regular way to eat a burger. Came with a tasty side of fries which is freshly cut from a whole potato together to chilli sauce and homemade sauce (not sure what they mixed, tasted somewhere between yellow mustard and thousand island probably.
Tried 3 drinks; 2 of which are smoothies; Black Tea Majestic Mango, and Mixed Berrilicious. The final drink is durian milkshake. The durian milkshake really taste weird and not enjoyable at all. The smoothies are nice and delicious. The mixed berry being my pick for sure because the mango has a strong black tea flavor so it can be enjoyable to those who enjoy tea.
Carbonara pasta is another menu that we tried. Pretty mediocre in terms of flavor and texture at best. Good enough to finish the meal itself. Not queasy (muak) as some carbonara offering can be so that's a plus point. Pretty average pasta.
Lastly we ordered Nasi Lemak Ayam Panggang but ended up with Nasi Beringin Ayam Panggang instead. At first we thought it was the style of the cafe, but then after few bites we finally realized it was a different meal altogether. Which is a bummer because the waiter did not write down anything confidently taking our orders just to missed out like that hence the low rating.
The bakery goods are dry and pretty hard to eat. At half price after 6pm it's fine but definitely not worth the full price for sure. Tried the regular croissant, mini croissant and chocolate pastry. Probably only the chocolate pastry is recommendable because of how dry the pastries are, and the chocolate help negate that a bit.
The parking it not plenty, but probably can park across the road. The provided parking can fit 4 cars at most and fully occupied when we came despite the cafe itself being probably 1/3 full.
An okay place to try. Probably would only repeat to try out their unique menu. Price on the higher end for not that good of a...
Read moreFirst and last visit. Pretentious. Expensive price tag for serving low quality and quantity of food. Here are 4 reasons why:
Unprofessional staffs, dancing, talking, joking and laugh so loud, sitting at the front dining table scrolling their phones while customers are there and coming in. Doesnt have to be a library but a minimal noise and a little professional in service goes a long way.
The most expensive lunch i had for 2. Rm80 plus for 2 plates and 2 drinks. The portion is so small, the beringin rice set did not come with papadom when noticed other customer had papadom on their set. When asked the server said it is because our set beringin is chicken so it does not have papadom. Weird! Letak je la dalam semua set bagi sama. Berani letak harga tinggi but the quality and taste is super mediocre. The ayam potong I had came with super salty sauce. The flavour of ayam potong itself nothing special at all, might as well beli kat tepi jalan support gerai tepi jalan. The audacity to charge so high in Batu Cave area.. yall think yall taraf Ben's, Naj and Bell, Kenny Hill and such? Oh gosh. Berangan. Ini lah orang kata orang lain bukak kedai kau pon nak bukak. Takkan nak bayar bill pon kena bangun bayar di kaunter with that kind of damn high price tag? What does your floor staffs do with less customers dined in? Refer no 1.
Your bakery display is so unhygenic. The bakery products were placed bare on an open rack. When asked are the bakes fresh? The answer was neither yes nor no. Simply said "the bakes usually will be heated again". What does that mean to me? Means they recycle those rotis for few days. After reheat what do you think will happen to the rotis? Keras dan tak sedap lah. You can tell also habuk and what not contaminated the bakes sebb tak tertutup plus the location of the display rack is very close to the main door.
Ok last one. Their menu in their website is totally different than the one in the restaurant. It wasnt updated. So it was a big dissappointing experience when you are looking forward to try their lamb shank and laksa harimau. But instead it was not offered anymore in their updated inhouse menu. To make it worse even the new menu item yg diorder juga tiada untuk hari tu tp tidak diterangkan oleh floor...
