QUICK & TASTY Wednesdays are just heavy days, more than other days. No thanks to the day after Thaipusam crawl last Tuesday, this week finds me in this place just after Maghrib. We parked alongside the open-air gazebo surrounded by bamboo plants waving in the night and brushing away the roadside dust.Colourful lights really lifts up my mood.Since the boys promised a lobster and a large squid for next weekend as reward for 'fasting' (read, keep off all seafood),I ordered Cantonese mee. Sounds simple enough. The closest to any Chinese fare I've had was Ipoh mee at Gopeng RTU. The waitress took our order and before 8.10, the food was in front of us.The vegetables were nicely cut up and cooked right, the simple gravy looked like soupy gravy as it should and the noodles just nice.Lurking under the noodles were small shrimps.Out of nowhere, those four eagle eyes, picked up the shrimps and off they went to Hamid's plate of Nasi Goreng Kampung! They missed one under the veggies. Nonetheless, Hamid's dish looked good because the rice was not wet nor sticking to each other.Taib drank hot tea with milk, Hamid had hot tea and I had water melon.Refreshing.We were perked up for couple more hours of work. The important thing,we were up and ready in about 30 mins.Next time I'll order the Chicken Rice like the first time we came -- at about...

The parking seems to be quite limited though I never had any issue with it as I have only come here when there are not so many people. Overall, I am satisfied with the food, service, and ambience, definitely...

The portion is also well decent and price is perfect. Good place to hang with friends and a good place to eat nasi ayam
Location is a little problem with being at the side of the road. Parking is a little difficult when it's full . But...
