Overall the food is good & very enjoyable. But I want to highlights two incidents. No 2 is such a horror not only to me & my family but to other patrons.
I came around two weeks ago. After spending more than 1.5 hrs suddenly we found lump of hair in the slice beef dish. It kills our appetite. By observing the kitchen staff, I notice that they do not adhere to hair/head restraints system. They didnt wear hat, hair net, beard net or bouffant hat as they should be.
â 2nd incident was horrifying. I came around 3.10pm and notice that 2 eggs was on the floor. Notified the cashier and she immediately went to see some other staff about it. After taking our seats, my wife went to take some drinks, I waited the table in order to order tomyam soup, beef, lamb & fish. After ensuring that both of us go to the buffet table to take food. While I was making sauce, my wife went to the dry noodle area. She step on the egg and fell down. It was more than 15mins since we came in. No attitude to clean it after customer mentioned it. Customers in the nearby table, I think table 1 & 2 immediately came to my wife to help her. But to my horror none of restaurantâs staff came to assist. The teo girls in blue uniform saw but just seem to ignore, keep on talking as though nothing happened. Only then one staff came to mopped the area & put up a slippery sign. Till the end until my wife manage to stand with other patrons help, none of the staff came. The cashier came to our table to apologized twice, but that is all.
I take this opportunity to remind this restaurant or any other, patron can sue the restaurant under public liability. Dont take too many part time staff in order to make more profit. Other establishment like Sukiya employ foreigners in order to ensure high quality services. Overall this incident is very outragest, very low mental attitude of staffs overshadow the good food serve. The mgmt is totally responsible for this...
Read moreFood was okay, but one of your cashier was unpleasant and unethical. Iâm just disappointed.
I went to your restaurant for the first time with my sister, wanting to support your business after seeing it on social media. We arrived around 4:00 PM, and there werenât many customers at that time, so Iâm not sure what caused her behavior. Maybe the cashier was having a bad day or feeling unwell, but it still doesnât excuse the way we were treated.
When we arrived, the cashier didnât greet us. Instead, she immediately asked how many people were in our group. I was okay with that and said it was just the two of us. Then, the cashier asked if either of us was a student, and I told her my sister was.
The cashier impatiently told us to choose our soup base quickly and asked if my sister had her university card. My sister tried to find it on her phone, but it took some time.
The cashier then said, âCan you hurry up? I need to take photos for other customers.â
I told her to go ahead and take the photos first while my sister found her student ID, but she insisted we had to follow protocol and pressured us to decide quickly.
Where are your manners? I donât expect to be treated like a princess, but I do expect to be treated with basic respect. The cashier was for me a bit rude, spoke in a loud voice, and had no patience. She ruined our mood and our first impression of your restaurant.
To the manager, please address this issue. Perhaps consider sending your staff for training on how to provide good customer service. Iâd like to think positively maybe the cashier was tired or didnât know how to treat people kindly. Maybe she isnât aware of how to be professional. Itâs disappointing to be treated poorly just because we were dressed simply. Please remember, all customers deserve respect, no matter...
Read more1st time going there to eat with my partner at around 7:30pm. Went in, nobody serve us until we had to stare at the staff only they came. The staff told us Fully booked so she told us to leave our contact number and will contact us once they got the table. We asked how long will it take so we wouldnât had to wait if itâs going to take few hours. She told us by 30mins they will have a table for us. So we waited. I was hungry at that time, so we decided to grab some bites at one of the Korean restaurant nearby. And until now, 11:17pm... nobody contacted us. Thank goodness we had grab something to eat first. Btw, the staff is called Emily if not mistaken. If there isnât any place, just contact us, let us know that thereâs no place left and we will find something else to eat!
P.S. when she told us fully booked at 8pm, there were actually at least 8 more tables there. But I will just give them the benefit of doubt and it doesnât matter anymore anyway. Wouldnât even want to revisit again even I had never even try before.. service always comes first before food.
Please improve on your staff servicing attitude if any of the upper management is...
