Been here a few times, parking is good. Has Ipoh style chee cheong fun, Kampar noodle and Sar kok. Thong sui/s available are usually warm and homely tasting pak kor yee Mai and gandum RM4 to dine in, RM5 if tarpau ( really well wrapped with cling film to ensure no leakage) The yam cake is great. Some options for vegetarian economy noodle and rice. Chinese bread was RM3.50 was not fresh, dry. Ok if toasted. Kaya was nice RM5. Malai kou was freshly steamed and served piping hot. These makes a lovely tea time dessert.
One detractor is that there is no printed menu here and depending on who you ask, the price changes. Items are tabulated by pen at the counter like a normal coffeeshop. Another thing, the Indonesian ? lady manning the noodles+dessert stall is incredibly bossy! She just orders customers around and should learn some manners.

Read moreI have been going to this place, on-off for more than 10 years - maybe since it started business. I remember starting I go there for curry noodles - that's what famous. Run by a Chinese lady boss, single shop lot. Now occupies 3 shop lots, serving mix rice, chicken rice, hakka noodles etc - all run by her & foreign staff. Like all successful business, I see 🤔the journey is challenging with all sorts of problems but her passion to run a restaurant pays off. I noticed generally, the quality of food served in restaurants nowadays are only marginally better comparing each other. It is difficult to find one that is so outstanding or super. A successful food business real depends on the passion of the person running it - sometimes, the small intangible things matters. I saw the boss picking up a used tissue paper! In most shops, the cashier counter is jealously guarded the boss. But not this shop! Some senior staff is doing it besides doing other jobs. Maybe, the boss management styles is one reason this restaurant is successful! You should go try their curry noodles, it's still good, but of course was better last time. Maybe cost of...

Heck.. sometimes we even had lunch there as well. Back in those days there were not as many eateries as it is today.
They sell dishes ranging from economy rice (chap fan) to curry noodles, and I particularly fond of their curry noodle. The options are limitless - take your pick from curry chicken, pork skin, taufu pok, or even Yong taufu (stuffed ingredients) to go with the bowl of piping hot curry broth. I've been eating there for more than 2 years and so the taste kind of grow in me.. especially when I squeeze the lime into the broth to make it tangy and sourish.
Other dishes available are char kuey teow and nasi lemak but for me, curry noodle is always a must everytime I'm...
