Frills free halal certified authentic Hainanese Poached or Roast Chicken rice is the main draw here. The later is usually sold out first. Not something you'd come across even locally in our culturely and gastronomically diverse urban cities around the state of Selangor.
The trick to having a rush-free meal around this outlet is to come either before or after the peak lunch break time. Coming later is not a good idea usually as most of the best chicken bits get sold out especially the choice cuts of the poached chicken. Coming earlier is also a way to avoid disappointment and also get a table without queuing. This place is that popular. Be if as it may, the chicken tastes authentic with the correct type of soy sauce based dressing on serving of chicken. Add to this a choice of the house blend chilli sauce or ginger mash with a touch of thick dark soy sauce and it's an unbeatable combo. Some of the regulars swear by the chilli here with the chicken.
The selection of drinks are ok if on the pricier end compared to the other numerous (non-halal) eateries serving similar fare here. All in all, when you're around here during brunch or just before lunch, this is a really delicious tiffin option to consider. Recommended...

But when i went there i was a bit sad because they dont have the rest of the menu choices like salted egg squid and egg plant with anchovies 😅 but nonetheless, the food was still great! Id love to suggest for them to move to bukit jelutong instead, because i feel like its a waste opportunity.. such good spot but tucked away in a place where not so many people know unless if they google it. Also its located along side many other non halal chicken rice shop. I feel like if they move to bukit jelutong they’ll be able to...

Taste wise: average, the chicken is not so juicy. The sambal and garlic are too spicy for me. Rice and chicken portion are ok for me but not for big eater. They may want to add extra rice.
Price: i think it’s still reasonable. It would be best if can have lunch set comes with drink
Major turn off: they dont serve plain water. Have to order mineral water costs at RM3.50. I understand that the biggest profit is actually coming from the drink but at least give us the option to order plain water instead. I’m willing to pay RM1 for that.
Will I come again? Probably yes.. but have to remind myself to bring my own...
