Ehsan's Bukit Jelutong — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Nasi lemak and ayam goreng are one of the best nasi lemak that i had in kedai mamak.

The sambal is sweet and spicy with got extra kick of shrimp paste (belacan). I poured some curry on top of nasi lemak and then mixed it with sambal nasi lemak. They only served 1 piece of cucumber 😞 but freshly sliced. As for fried peanuts - crunchy. However, the fried anchovies were chewy.

I tapau some roti naan with cheese and kima *kambing. It was acceptable but the naan were delicious. Next i will try to order something else like maggie goreng or tandoori chicken and update the review here.

My friend ordered nasi beriyani ayam a day before i posted this comment. She claimed that the nasi beriyani is tasty. But i don't really believe her taste bud 😂

I also tried their sup tulang with white rice and salted egg with sambal belacan. It is delicious but not as good as in Pelita Klcc or Sup Hamid in Penang.

Oh man, the. chicken tandoori I ordered from this restaurant is still running on my mind, I can still feel the taste. What!, Did you ask is it that good? Yes my friend, it was quite delicious, properly spiced and cooked. Prices are very reasonable.

Only thing because of which I think twice before going to the restaurant is the distance, its almost 40 Kms from my place, but will this stop me going there?, nope I will go atleast once a week.

Near the restaurant there is some parking space, may not be enough on a crowded day. They have both dine in and take away option.

Apart from chicken tandoori, they also have mutton curry, mutton biryani and other non veg items. Not sure if they have vegetarian option may be they just have roti as a vegetarian option 😉.

One year ago I posted a very good review for this restaurant. However, last night was a total disappointment for all the regular food that I used to order from this place for the past 3 years. The beef Murtabak, beef Keema and Aloo Gobi were all tasteless. I could only eat half of what I ordered because the minced beef was tough and fibrous. I threw the remaining food out of disgust! I don't even want to post any photos! I sent a WhatsApp complaint and was informed that there was a new "Chef" in the kitchen! He said he will inform the "Boss" whom I hope is reading this review because I will no longer be your customer if I'm paying for expensive inedible food. Please read all the recent negative reviews for this restaurant. Good bye and good luck...
