Updated review after they relocated and rebranded to Mon Viet. Their new shop is located opposite Yun Hai Kopitiam (near Hero Market) - occupying the shop previously by Ma Zi Pan Mee. Place seems more spacious. Taste still maintained for their Beef Pho. Price adjusted a little bit from RM 16.50 to RM 16.90. Glad they are back in Kota Kemuning.
Review when it was previously Sai Gon Spring Rolls: When they first started, as a diner, I noticed they had so many hiccups - one of them: QR code/ Online ordering system that didn't capture order and customer still need to go to the counter to place order.
Went back again to give another try and this time I am a pleased diner (although the waiting time still can be improved). Pho presentation and condiments are improved. Also, the fresh spring rolls previously wasn't served with hoisin sauce, now it does - taste way better. First time trying out the chicken rice. Rice has a distinct buttery smell and the chicken cooked nicely. But I wouldn't go back for seconds for this dish. Will be back for the pho and fresh spring rolls 👍

Read moreIm giving them a one star because of there is no option for a zero star (which could come quite in handy for this situation) i ordered this dish expecting my dipping soup but instead was given a mere little bowl of “dipping sauce” which was basically vinegar soy sauce garlic and chilli (it tasted nothing like how this dish is supposed to taste like) This place is what i would call ruining delicious Vietnamese delicacies. I also ordered their famous spring rolls (which I regret) and it doesn’t taste anything like what its supposed to taste like, the staff was forgetful and couldn’t care less about the customer along with the horrendous smell of insects such as cockroaches, I will NEVER EVER come again as everything here is horrible. I hope this place shuts...
Read moreHad a nice dinner yesterday at Mon Viet.
The banh mi (subway sandwich) with pork was tasty and bread was crispy yet fluffy. Almost as good as the bread we had in Vietnam. The chicken rice is nice too as the rice is well cooked with lots of flavour. The pho was not bad, it had a good amount of beef. Lastly, the roast pork dry vermicelli was good, light and lots of vegetables to balance the roast pork.
Service and atmosphere met expectations. Food came out within 15 minutes, ordering is via QR code. Price here is reasonable too where you can get a good meal for under RM20 per pax.
Overall, my family and I will be coming back to try...
