Murni Discovery is a well-loved spot for fusion food with massive portions and creative combinations. Here’s my experience with their unique menu offerings:
Mee Raja Tomyam with Grilled Chicken Chop and Fries This dish is a powerhouse of flavors! The Mee Raja is generously coated in rich, tangy tomyam sauce with a perfect balance of spice and sourness. The grilled chicken chop is juicy and well-seasoned, complementing the noodles perfectly. The crispy fries on the side add a nice texture contrast. It’s a hearty, satisfying dish ideal for spice lovers.
Maggie Germany This dish lives up to its reputation as a crowd favorite. Instant noodles are cooked to perfection and served with thick slices of German sausages. The sausages are smoky, tender, and packed with flavor, making this a must-try for meat enthusiasts. The overall presentation is simple but enticing.
Mango Smoothie The mango smoothie is refreshing and indulgently thick, made from fresh mangoes. It’s the perfect drink to cool down after a spicy meal. The sweetness is just right, making it a fantastic way to end the meal.
Overall Experience Murni Discovery continues to impress with its extensive menu, vibrant atmosphere, and reasonable pricing. The creative dishes like Mee Raja Tomyam and Maggie Germany stand out, offering a unique fusion dining experience. Highly recommended for groups or anyone looking for big flavors...
Read moreMurni Discovery has become the quintessential Eastern - Western fusion restaurant in Klang Valley. Most of their dishes have that distinct and unique Murni style that anyone going here looking for the standard menu is a bit naive.
To be honest, no one is going to Murni for the gourmet experience. Most of us are eating here because the price is very reasonable, and the portions are big. That's all there is to it. Nothing's wrong with that. So in terms of going to a Murni outlet, the only deciding factors are how fast the service is and how serviceable the food is.
I'm happy to report that this outlet is probably a bit better than the other ones. Or at least we have a better experience here (the time probably helps considering it's in the afternoon instead of night time).
Food-wise it's pretty good. The crispy chicken chop that we ordered is cooked well even though it's basically frozen food. My fried rice and Indomie also tasted good. And the drinks aren't too sweet (a slope that is pretty slippery locally).
The place is not too big when compared to other outlets. But I think they'll open up more tables on the street at night. So it's not an issue. Overall, anyone who's familiar with Murni should not be disappointed eating here as they'll get as good a service as compared with the other...
Read moreMy friends and I made a reservation here for berbuka puasa during Ramadhan. The problem of this restaurant is they didnt provide service for us to order a day in advance. Thats fine with us but the problem is there are so many people at the restaurant during berbuka, so the service of course become slow. In my opinion, they should provide convenience for muslim untuk berbuka puasa, as for example provide a bottle of mineral water for each table (you can of course charge it) and preparing comfortable surau for customers (surau dia campur both men and women, can only accomodate only 3 people at one time- not because of sop but because its too small). We understand that the food will be delivered much later than usual, but i hope you can improve to accomodate orang yang berpuasa. Well the portion for the food is more than enough, boleh bawa sahur sekali, cuma rasa takdelah macam hotel 5 bintang but still acceptable. Overall, this restaurant is not bad, but the service can...
