We decided to give this place a try as a Sunday lunch treat. The ambiance is really excellent with the Moorish set up. There are even the special tables where you can dine like an Arabian night setup. The staff are decent, attentive and there is a small language barrier as they speak minimal English. But we were able to convey the orders properly. The falafel were fried to perfection, matched perfectly with the hummus. The bamya (lamb stew with okra) was decent, probably needed some more gravy to enjoy with the white rice. The shrimp briyani was a bit dry and lacking the potent briyani spice for the rice. Not enough gravy as well. The shish taouk (chicken kebab) was the star of all the dishes served. The chicken was grilled perfectly complemented with the toasted flatbread and vegetables. The sayadiah (grilled Greek fish) was dry as well and needed more moisture in the fish. Even though it was grilled, the flavour profile was still present and maintained the softness also. The Arabic tea was bland with inadequate flavour. The fruit juices were decent. Pricing was moderately expensive. But, it's worth the visit for the...

Food was delicious, especially the bread and Iraqi kebab.
However overall experience was unsatisfactory due to several reasons.
Iftar was at 7.20pm, however guests were only allowed to take food at 7.10pm. Food buffet was located at a very small space and inconvenient for guests. Since guests had only 10 minutes to get food prior adhan, most had rushed to the buffet area at the same time and the area became crowded and this experience had become extremely unpleasant.
Food was not immediately topped up, and this was still early at about 7.40pm. The bread and Iraqi kebab counter was already empty and I had to wait for 15 minutes to get the bread. The iraqi kebab had definitely taken longer time to be replenished.
There were not many food options, you could have double or triple options at other place with the same price.
In conclusion the food and service were not worth our money. It was a very disappointing experience and I will not have my...
Read moreDine-in for Iftar buffet. At first, I prefer to have an ala-carte, but they told during Ramadan ala-carte only available after 8pm. So, as I prefer to break fast there, no choice to book for buffet at RM69/person. My expectation, when we say buffet like in many restaurant did for years during Ramadan will be like food & drink nicely arranged and always top-up quantity to cater full house customers. But here, they didn't!! Dining space almost full house, then the buffet area was messy like eating at low class stall, they let food and drink almost empty and customers had no choice to try other types of food. Glass and plate not enough. What can I say, the quality and quantity of buffet only worth RM29- RM39, NOT RM69. TOTALLY...
