Sopoong@Setia City Mall — Restaurant in Shah Alam

An unpleasant experience to be in here. At that time my friend and i was just craving to enjoy the bingsu as our dessert after having our dinner in other restaurant. As i believe sopoong do have the bingsu, we went there. At the front already asked the staff for confirmation if they have the bingsu. The staff said they do have the bingsu. At that time definitely before 8.30pm. When we made an order my friend also order for hotteok pancake (don't know if I spell correct - she said the taste is weird). After few minutes we made an order, suddenly the staff came and told us bingsu won't available after 8.30pm. Hello! If you really have that rule. Please tell us ahead when I was asking you at the front of the restaurant if this restaurant serve the bingsu. Plus you can inform us when we give our order. We already made an order. How you can easily came out with that rule even actually we came before 8.30pm. Yaa maybe we're not so sure what time we sat down. But when you came to us to inform that absurd info, i looked at my watch, it's just only past 8.30pm so i guess we were there before 8.30pm with the time taking to choose the dessert, so definitely before 8.30pm. I don't mind if you have that kind of rule, but please inform your customer earlier when your customer ask about the availability of the bingsu earlier at the front of the restaurant or when we make an order. I x suka bagi negative review. This is first time I write this kind of review. But I really can't tahan benda mcm ni. Please tell earlier!!! That's all what you should do. I can't recall the exact name of what my wife and I had for lunch this afternoon, but I'm pretty sure it's some sort of ramen and bingsu. Check out the photos. In terms of taste, I'd say pretty basic. Nothing special regarding the ramen. But for the bingsu, it was really nice! We ordered the strawberry one, and my goodness the shaved ice was super smooth! Let me start of by saying that the creamy onion sauce for the fried chicken "tenders" was one of the best I've had but I'm afraid to talk about the chicken tenders. There was nothing tender about the chicken pieces. They were not deep fried but over fried, so much so that I was afraid that my molars were going to chip after that.
