I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Setia City Mall outlet on Saturday, 26 July 2025 at around 3:00 PM.
Firstly, a female staff member (not wearing a headscarf, dressed in a black shirt) approached me and informed me that outside food is not allowed. I fully understand and accept this policy, and I sincerely apologize for bringing outside food. However, what concerns me is the inconsistent enforcementâthis staff member only addressed me and did not remind other customers, even though they had outside food as well. I felt unfairly singled out, and this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.
Secondly, the cashier who attended to me displayed a poor attitude and lack of professionalism. I had inquired about the Coffee Bean mobile app being down, and whether I could still make a purchase and earn points the next day. Instead of assisting, she responded impatiently and repeatedly said, âthe app is down,â without offering any solution or attempting to check with a manager. Her dismissive attitude made me feel unvalued as a customer, and I eventually decided not to proceed with the purchase.
I have always enjoyed visiting Coffee Bean outlets, and I usually receive pleasant and helpful service at other locations. Unfortunately, this was not the case at the Setia City Mall branch.
