I recently dined at this restaurant, expecting a quality Thai meal but was left very disappointed. Here’s what went wrong:
Rice Quality: Being a Thai restaurant, I expected the rice to be a highlight. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. The rice was hard and dry, clearly having been left in the cooker for far too long. When I raised the issue, the manager informed me that it would take an hour to cook fresh rice. We ended up buying rice from the mamak restaurant next door just to salvage our meal. Cleanliness: I was shocked to find a cockroach inside the tissue box, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. This raises serious concerns about overall hygiene. Ambiance & Comfort: The atmosphere was uncomfortable, with the air conditioning not functioning properly, leaving the dining area stuffy. To make matters worse, mosquitoes were constantly biting, adding to the unpleasant experience. Service: Given the issues with the food, I expected the staff to at least attempt to make up for the ruined meal. Unfortunately, the service fell short. There was no effort to rectify the situation beyond the explanation about the rice.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I hope the management addresses these...
Read moreThis restaurant is situated right across of Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) and can be easily found if you drive along that road. Parking is quite limited and you may have to wait for a while till someone exits from the designated parking lot or you may park slightly far from this premise. Before 1900, you must purchase the the parking coupons from the vending machines or alternatively by the MPSJ parking app. The food here is great and staff are very friendly and helpful. They even tell you what their signature cuisines are and keep you posted in case your preferred cuisine is out of stock or not made on that day. The seating capacity is quite limited, so try to drop by at non peak hours or you may wait a little. They play the Thai songs in the background and it gives you a little feeling that you’re somewhere in Bangkok as the waiters are mostly Thai people. As someone that visited Thailand tourist spots previously, I would say this premise brings back the actual aura of an authentic Thai shops or eateries. A must try spot in Subang Jaya and the staff and their services...
Read moreWe ordered Tomyam Vegetarian Fried Rice, Tomyam Chicken Fried Rice RM10.90 each, Crispy Chicken Skin RM9.50 and it was sooooo good. Almost authentic I would say but for a restaurant located in Subang, the portions were huge and prices were quite reasonable. Crispy Chicken Skin was coated with Sesame Seed, Vege Fried Rice had baby corn, peas, broccoli, carrot and some mushrooms( maybe enoki mushrooms) The chicken version had a generous amount of Chicken breast slices, kucai ( local Vege) and so much more, they were both moderately spicy. Service was good and Fast and out waiter this evening was Mr Doly who was so patient to explain the menu to us and also served us with a smile. They also have seating upstairs and also serve alcoholic drinks including Thai Beer - Chang Beer, Wine, Thai Spirits, Thai Cocktails and for the first time in forever My Starter actually came first. So a total 10/10 for this place. I didn't manage to get pictures of the food but I think it's better that you come here and try it...
