This restaurant, as I search rating in Google Map and decide to eat.
There are a lot parking out there but it seem like quite packed. It is not easy to find a parking there. But we are lucky we got the parking Infront of the restaurant. For the parking and location I will rate 3 star.
When we arrive there we found that nearby also have another 3 Japanese restaurant, the price more or less the same, it is a bit above average I think. But for Jyu Raju, it is really worth the price.
We order 1 set lunch Grill beef, Ramen with shio and chicken katsu curry. The meal is come with sushi, soup, Chawanmushi (steam egg), salad, salmon Tamaki Sushi(Hand rolls) and a mini set tempura.
For the grill beef is really really nice, the beef is so fresh and the texture so juicy. It is like a perfect medium rare beef. And the sauce make the beef more tasty. The beef without the sauce can be directly eat, but with the sauce it is just so match with the white rice. I can have two bowl of rice just eat the beef. I think is western food steak also not as nice as the beef they serve. I will definitely rate 5 stars for the dish.
For the chicken katsu curry is so so nice. In Malaysia I think is a bit hard to find a delicious and full of Japanese curry taste. Normally I don't eat Japanese curry rice in Malaysia because always upset me. However in Japan you simply go a restaurant order the curry rice you really will in love with their curry. But back to Jyu Raku the chicken katsu curry rice so so nice, the curry taste is so rich just like I eat in Japan. Just the curry sauce with rice I can eat 3-4 bowl rice. I highly recommended! I will rate 5+1 star for the curry. The curry mix any katsu also will be nice I would said.
The Ramen I will give 3 star only, I think the soup not so good it is a bit like kombu soup base instead of meat taste soup base. The noodle also just like soba noodle, not as usual ramen we eat other places. Ramen noodle suppose to be more springy. So a bit disappointed on the ramen.
Miso soup they serve it is quite nice also not too salty, but taste is rich. I think it is hard to find this kind of soup in Malaysia. Usually miso soup quite salty. The sushi serve together set lunch is so fresh it as the waitress mention the meat all just delivered from Japan. Well it really taste so fresh. The salmon Tamaki Sushi is also really special for me, because I first time eat it serve with some crunchy tempura powder. When you eat not only salmon and rice it have the special feeling in your mouth. I think must try it. For the overall side dish I will rate 5 star, because it is above my expectation.
In overall I will still rate for 4 star only. Hope you all can try the restaurant. And give some comments to...

i love the miso soup the best. it is light and flavourful. i think the prawn (head) lifted the overall taste.
as usual i enjoyed the chawanmushi - smooth and tender. it has 3 gingko nuts 😬👍🏻.
a little disappointed with the unagi no kabayaki. nothing spectacular and really, not as thick as those i had before in some of the better japanese restaurants. in other words, it's almost comparable to those packaged unagi kabayaki i bought. now, seriously I'm pondering whether did they really grilled them or...
the sashimi that comes with the set is fresh and succulent. two pieces each - salmon, tuna and kanpachi. it is my first time tasting kanpachi. the slices are crisp, mild and clean in flavour. definitely better than hamachi which is more commonly available. at first i thought to request to exchange the tuna sashimi with other sashimi as I don't really like it unless it is the belly part. surprisingly it doesn't have that weird cottony aftertaste nor the reddish colour of akami that usually served in sushi joints and buffets. maybe a better cut of akami? unfortunately one of the slices had some tendon and was not a nice cut (now that i recalled, that piece has a weird shape, triangular and not uniformed in thickness. like ok, this the last slice of the slab 😔). the salmon sashimi? it is ok, as per fresh salmon sashimi.
aaa the red snapper sashimi - mild and yet still has some bite. i enjoyed it! (not in the set, separate order)
overall, i had a good lunch and sashimi craving satiated, for now.
the meal costs around rm145. i say totally worth it if not...

Get someone who has a heart to serve customers. This is definitely one of the worst restaurants that I have visited.
I came to this restaurant in this evening. A lady who was in front of the restaurant asked me if I made any reservation and I said no. She escorted me inside the restaurant; so I assumed that there were still some tables for walk in guests like me. When I stepped into the restaurant, there was another lady asking me about the reservation again. And I said I didn’t make any reservation. Then she was calling with someone leaving us still waiting, then she just simply pointed up saying “upstairs” without even looking at us. I literally doubted if she was talking to me or what. Then she told another waitress to bring us to the upstairs. Then that lady also just pointed the side saying “upstairs”. Then I asked her back where it is, then she answered me “upstairs” again in a seemingly irritated voice. It was my first visit to here.
Do I need to find my own way in YOUR RESTAURANT? Are you the busiest people in the world? This restaurant can’t operate without you? Is it how you escort your customers? So rude! If you are only welcoming customers with reservation, you should have informed me at the first place so that I won’t waste my time with your horrible waitresses (one with glasses and another one with black short hair)
I will never ever come back neither do I recommend this place. Such a...
