Malaysian Kitchen — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Malaysia Kitchen in Subang Jaya. I ordered the Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (RM15.90), expecting a simple, well-prepared dish. Instead, I was served raw chicken, with blood visibly seeping out when I cut into it.

When I raised my concern with the waitress, she gave a dismissive response, claiming that was the "nature" of the chicken. When I pressed further, she went to consult the kitchen, and the chef barely acknowledged the issue—offering only a weak apology before taking the dish away.

I assumed they would replace the meal with properly cooked chicken, but after waiting 20 minutes, they simply re-fried the same piece, coating it in another layer of batter to mask the rawness. It was still undercooked inside.

Beyond the food safety issue, the customer service was appalling. When I inquired about the price and potential refund, I was told refunds were not possible and that I had no choice but to pay for the inedible meal.

RM15.90 for a meal I couldn't even eat—this is unacceptable. Malaysia Kitchen, please take responsibility and improve your food safety standards. No customer should have to experience this. PS: If I could rate...

My family and friends ordered via GrabFood from this restaurant “Butter Floss Prawns” and we were quite surprised at how the last 3 to 4 orders came with the prawns orders. The prawns literally looks like its been fried prior with a batter and then mixed with the egg floss later on! We have made complaints to GrabApp for the food feedback especially for the Butter Floss Prawns tastes and how it is not an actual Butter Floss Prawns that changed in taste, looks and it effects other orders as well like the fried rice that wasn’t cooked to taste good but it tasted blandness!! Had breakfast at this place and felt like we’ve wasted our time and money at wrong place. The Nasi lemak with fried chicken was horrible. Nasi lemak sambal smells and tasted bad, in addition the fried chicken was undercooked with the blood seeping out. While, the customer service made it even worst. Promised to change a new piece of chicken but re-fried the same piece of chicken and the taste was bad. While my friend had fried kuewteow, it was not cooked properly as well.
