It's been a long time since I've patronized this very well known establishment. Back then when I was a kid it was a real treat to eat at this restaurant. So are they still worth your time? It's a resounding yes. I can tell they have loyal customers from the one hour that I spent in this branch. I tried their set menu. The fried chicken with fried rice was fine but their steamed chicken whole leg with dong gui (female ginseng) was a 100% for me. The dong gui flavor was strong and concentrated. I finished up the sauce with much satisfaction. The fried dumpling was on par with the ones you can order at DTF and Dragon-i. These two restaurants of course have taken a lot of shine off Esquire Kitchen over the years with better ambience, interior design and marketing. Read moreThey have moved from their previous old wing outlet to this new place at the food street. The outlet is now smaller but have better traffic compared to previous place. Dining at peak hour they can get busy and full too
Ordered 3 meal set which can choose one meat, one vegetable and one tofu/egg selection. Orders also picked vegetables noodle soup for my kid.
The noodle soup are ok. The taste are not too salty with good amount of noodle and vegetables. Potion are enough for an adult.
For other dish wise taste are ok. Most of it are savoury but not too salty. Staple Chinese style cooking and price wise are not too expensive.
Overall their food are ok. Taste not too salty which is good indication of lesser use of msg. Once a while will come for dinner here with family but please be aware they have limited big table now due to the outlet...

We usually patronised the outlet at Sunway Pyramid but certain dishes on the menu are not available. The place is bright and lively. We are delighted to discover that all our favourite dishes are available. We ordered the signature tong po pork belly paired with steam buns, a steamed soup and our favourite fried lotus root mixed veggies. For drink we always have the hot Chinese tea.
