I recently visited Hometown Hainan Coffee in Puchong and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshed and bright new look of the place. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and welcoming — perfect for a relaxing breakfast, brunch, or even a casual afternoon tea.

I started with their Hainan Mee, a comforting noodle dish packed with rich flavors and a nice balance of sweet, savory, and tangy notes. Pairing it with their Gula Melaka Hainan Coffee was a great choice — the coffee had a robust aroma, and the palm sugar added a deep, caramel-like sweetness that made every sip so enjoyable.

The Hainan Chicken Chop was another highlight. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and generously coated with their signature sauce — slightly sweet, tangy, and rich in tomato flavor. For a refreshing drink, the Chocolate Frappe did not disappoint, with a smooth texture and just the right amount of chocolatey indulgence.

For a local favorite, I tried the Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken Leg Quarter — the fragrant coconut rice, sambal with a nice spicy kick, and the crispy, juicy fried chicken made this a very hearty meal.

Dessert was the Homemade Hainanese Kaya Mille Crepe, which was soft, creamy, and layered beautifully with their house-made kaya. It wasn’t overly sweet, making it the perfect ending to the meal.

This is my first time dine in here..the price is a bit pricy..one nasi ayam dish is expensive and the rice not fully cooked well, dry and not juicy.

I order grilled chicken chop rice bowl, the portion is big and can acceptable. the drink is great taste.love it.

I wait almost 10 minutes waiting my turn to use the toilet with my daughter need to pee, and then i need 3 times to check wether its still occupied or not until i call them and checking are they done yet? Untill my food cold.

Its so shock the staff was come out from the toilet and didnt say anything..the other toilet is occupied by the customer so i understand that. I ask the supervisor to recheck either the staff is ok or not,but the staff no show and explain something which is very rude. I think the management need to provide a training to the staff in the future.

For me Its perfect for those that not bring kids here. Those without kids...
