Food was good. Had the pineapple fried rice set (RM12.90) while my friend had the padkrapaw set (RM13.90). Each set come with an ice cream (pick from 4 flavors) + infused water (feels pandan-y but barely) + a small bowl of red tomyam soup. Had no complain about my fried rice and but the padkrapaw given does look to be on the lesser side. The rice used is also on the higher grade as it's pearly white. If they had used lesser MSG, I would have rated them a solid 4 🌟 for food so if you're MSG-tolerant, then bump up this rating by another star
Service hands-down is the greatest part here as there's a robot that dishes out the food and drinks to you. Children will be in for a delight and so does that inner child in you for adults. They also accept cards as payment so that's a big plus here. On the other hand, the atmosphere here is dark and murky (hence why the pictures taken are on blurry side due to the lack of lighting). Not sure if it's a decision by Johnny’s or a decision by Summit's management as the other food vendors here are all also shrouded in darkness especially Nyonya Cendol
No qualms in coming back here so if you're unsure on what to eat at Summit, can always come here and opt for the set meals which are priced competitively and have a ton of varieties...
Read moreThis restaurant provides steamboat menu and ala carte menu (like fried rice, pad krapaw rice etc.), you can also add like rm4 to make it set (soup, ice cream and drink). The food was nice, i love the sambal. However, apparently some of the staff don't feel happy when you don't order steamboat. She didn't want to serve us and look down on us. When we asked for bill, she was just one step (yes, 1step) from our table, she looked at our bill and passed to another staff (lower position i supposed). It was funny to see the girl confused when she saw the table is just right in front of her. LOL Anyway, if you are going for steamboat, i think it would be a nice choice. It is not that pricey, and most of the customers go for steamboat. And well, they will serve you happily when you are going...
Read moreme and my family planned to break our fast here and when we call them to make reservation, a malay lady worker mentioned that, they DONT ACCEPT any reservation, only walk in. only then when we arrived, we found out that the shop was fully bookedfor steamboat, the walk in is for ala carte. of course we got frustrated as that wasn’t deliberated correctly to us and we were really looking forward for the steamboat. IF ONLY they mentioned it clearly, we would have went to other place for berbuka as you all know, all shops are full during puasa month and need to book at least 1 week early.
all and all, i wouldn’t even give 1 star to this branch. really disappointing!! and to that LADY worker, please work on your communication to avoid any confusion and...
