KL Empire Hotel USJ — Hotel in Subang Jaya

I think we got scammed because, like some people say in the reviews, they say the room we booked is not available and we need to pay for a new room, even though when we see it online, they say the room is available and we cannot get a refund. We need to ask the online booking website. The room is not clean, and when I lay on the bed, I feel itchy. The room smells weird, and the drawer has some smoke ash in it. Also, the sink looks like it is about to fall off. I also feel like they haven't cleaned the room other than the floor and the toilet. I hope no one books this hotel online because I think they will say the room you booked is not available and force you to pay for another room. Be sure to lock your door! I see one review say that people come in when you sleep; just don't come here. Not recommended for anyone. Also I feel like some of the 5 star...

We stayed here as a group for 4 nights and we loved it.|It was very convenient being attached to a shopping mall and plenty of yummy restaurants close by. Also a 10 min taxi to Sunway shopping centre and Sunway lagoon Park. The room was quite large with plenty of space. The staff catered really well with our requests and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast was excellent with loads of choices. The price was quite reasonable. It seemed many people stayed there for business purposes but we stayed for its location to Sunway lagoon. It's also not far from kidzania and I city.|We enjoyed staying here and would certainly recommend...

Honestly, Empire Hotel is not my 1st choice, chose it due to the proximity to the office. The room was quite dated and furniture seem worn-out. The room was not exactly clean and I put up with it since it was only a one-night stay. Even though it was a non-smoking room, I could smell the cigarette smoke mixed with sweat in the room and it was not exactly pleasant. Nothing to shout about, the only good thing is Empire Hotel is located above Empire Shopping Gallery and you have good choices of eating & shopping...
