First time I was here, I take away some coffee and curry Chee Cheong fun, I find the local coffee is good and strong not overly sweet and Chee Cheong Fun is decent, so I visited again for a dine in.
This time I got their signature pork chop, toast coffee set and mix yong tou fu.
The coffee is good as usual, love their consistency, toast is good, I've ordered the long bun, mix yong tou fu is good as well, soup is just nice, and I've get to try their signature fried fish ball, which is quite tasty, never had anything close to this, its still has some crisp in it, and I can even get to taste some salted fish, is go surprisingly well. (Do check with them on the ingredients, I just explaining what I tasted)
The signature pork chop is ok, they have this very nice fried egg batters crust on it, but I find the meat slightly dry, sauce is simple all right, fries is ok, feel like would be better if there's some colesaw, but for the price, I think everything provided is good.
Some of their table are revamp from those old sewing machine, so you can actually fidget your legs around it 🤣
This place suppose to be a 4 Star, but I need to down it to 3 as the ventilation inside the restaurant is not really good, mainly because I can feel the smoke stinging my eyes and nose time by time from the kitchen smoke, making it not enjoyable and wish to leave the place as soon as possible.
Would love to revisit this place if they can do something...
Read moreYuck. First and last time ordering food and drinks from here. Thought this was a gem to go for but sadly NO. Eat at your own risk. 1. Ordered their signature chicken and pork chops. Chicken chop was very oily (didn't drain the oil), gravy was a bit bland with bits of tiny onion slices and some few pieces of green peas (which I specifically asked to omit and wasn't heeded). French fries is super flat with no salt. Ordered their signature Roti bakar and hoped at least this would be a simple and good delicious fix but sadly, the butter or margarine used tasted like it was left overnight opened. Weirdest taste ever with the only good thing that it was toasted properly. Kampar hot coffee came in a plastic container which I had to use a sharp plastic to poke thru just to drink that I think should be in a McD type of hot cup. The worst part is they even provided us with carbonated cold drink straws which couldn't and shouldn't be matched with the heat.
So, sadly, there is no good Hainanese chicken chop in USJ yet to be found. Need to go further to find another place. Any recommendations of better places to try in Subang/PJ would be...
Read moreI came here was solely because of a friend's recommendation but the food leaves me with a great disappointment.
Pork chop was overcooked, dry & close to tasteless whereby the gravy is just so so. The pork chop is fried version, it was too oilt as the oil was not drained but put right right away at the plastic container. The portion of pork chop is considered small for the price (rm15.90) being paid.
HOT Kampar coffee was put inside a SEALED Flimsy plastic cup with a straw given. If I know the hot drinks are put inside SEALED FLIMSY PLASTIC cup, I wouldn't have ordered at all.
The Roti Bakar is crunchy. However the taste of the butter is weird. It tastes like the butter has been kept too long in the fridge Uncovered as it has a strong "fridge" smell.
In summary, not...
