i had chicken chop for dinner. I was so disappointed that the portion was too little for RM23. plus there was a rude chinese staff who made me so uncomfortable for dinner time.
In response to owner's reply, let me clarify what happens . I got in the restaurant and took a seat. Then a young chinese woman staff approached to me and said "we will taking photos here. you can't sit here" (seems like you guys were doing photo shooting for the restaurant advertisement) She did not ask me to move to other table but was just telling me what "they" will be doing. Then I have moved to other table and I had my water after a while. The same staff approached me again and said "we don't allow you to bring and have outside drink in restaurant". I felt as if police or my boss was ordering me to follow what she said. Is this really how the staff is supposed to speak to customers? I would have been absolutely fine to follow if this staff asked me in more proper or any better ways about the restaurant rule or something. but the thing is she was just telling me what they do, not considering how customers feel. to be fair for the restaurant, all other staffs were no problem and I had enjoyed the food last time and I was expecting something good this time again. However due to this young chinese woman staff, my mood went so unpleasant at the...
Read moreRecently had the pleasure of dining at Ruma Fusion & Co. and it was a delightful experience.
We tried their Omu Curry Chicken rice. The omelette was perfectly fluffy, enveloping a flavorful and savory curry that had a decent kick to it. The dish was beautifully presented, with a garnish of fresh herbs adding a touch of elegance. The accompanying fried buttermilk chicken was well-battered and crispy, providing a satisfying contrast in texture.
The Rösti was equally impressive and quite a rare find in the Klang Valley area. The potatoes were finely grated and cooked to a golden brown, offering a delightful crunch with each bite. The dish was topped with a dollop of lite tangy sour cream. The balance of flavors and textures in both dishes was commendable.
Both of our orders arrived pretty swiftly, and the chef himself checked in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The décor was modern yet cozy, creating a relaxed dining environment. The ambient natural lighting and comfortable seating made it an ideal place to enjoy a meal. The overall vibe of the restaurant was lively, with a pleasant buzz of conversation, yet it wasn't overly noisy, allowing for easy...
Read moreFirst time visiting, located at the new Segi College area in the Edumetro block. This modern cafe offers a contemporary experience offering typical cafe food like chicken chop, spaghetti and omurice.
Despite the concrete floor and hardwood tables, seating is quite comfortable making it a suitable place for students to dine and chill.
The food is overall decent with a standout being the pulled beef carbonara like many fellow reviewers have mentioned. It's definitely on the saltier side but it's creamy, light and filling, great 😃👍!
The price is not cheap(Rm25++) but honestly? Quite standard for the area of Subang. The drinks are especially expensive while serving small cup sized portions, but the Teh tarik is well foamed and milky, delicious 😋! However, the passion fruit soda is honestly pretty bad, it doesn't mix well and it isn't even soda 😆, there's no bubbles or sparking taste at all...
What I would hope to see in the future is the offering of free flow water like many cafes do as the only other option is bottled water.
Aside from that, a decent cafe overall.
Thank you for reading...
