Sessions — Restaurant in Malé Atoll

The food was really good and the variety wonderful for being a 'buffet' or the 'default' restaurant at Hard Rock. It was so enjoyable that we opted to eat here multiple times during out 10 day vacation. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and where we at breakfast all but one day.

The staff are wonderful and very helpful. They get to know you and it only improves their service.

With our all inclusive package we could eat here free everyday as much as we wanted. Breakfasts generally have hot, cold, self serve and made to order options including: Champagne and wine, cold cuts, fruit, nuts, cereals, breads, toasts, eggs, pastries, pancakes, waffles, eggs (however you want them) coffee made to order, fresh juices, a variety or meats and foods from all over the world that differ each day.

Dinner has alternating options of specialties, fish market, Brazilian steak house, Italian etc in addition to its staples. It always has a wave of servers hand carving and helping you collect your food. Depending on the day there will be additional stalls outside where they cook food to order. They made a Fantastic risotto for me one night.

Seating is indoor and outdoor with a view of the beach. Select lunch and dinners there is live music and entertainment.

We can’t thank Sessions and Chef Ruben enough for such an amazing eating experience. After reaching out to the reservations team, I was able to speak with Chef Ruben and discuss the type of food my daughter could eat, she has Coeliac Disease and must eat Gluten Free food. The team at sessions were able to cater for her and the level of service from the wait staff and kitchen staff was exceptional. Even though Sessions offer mostly a buffet service, many of my daughters meals were prepared separately to prevent “gluten contamination” and remain Coeliac safe. The quality of food was beyond our expectations and to be honest, my daughter has never eaten GF food as good as this. It was such a treat for us to go out to dinner knowing the kitchen staff would take care of our her and Chef Ruben is to be commended for his dedication and passion. Each meal that we attended at Sessions, Chef Ruben had a special GF meal ready to go. Was absolutely delighted by Ayaa’s service! My friend was having a tummy upset and was trying to request a warm tea to help ease the discomfort that she was having. Ayaa suggested that he could try for a ginger tea which my friend was very happy to hear.

Ayaa came back with the tea and shared with us then he thought that serving tea with fresh ginger in it would do my friend better, instead of the packet up ginger tea where the ginger would not be as strong and clearly the medicinal effect of ginger would not be able to help my friend at all
