I went here with a friend recently. Better make reservations if you want to be seated inside. Walk-ins are still accepted, though. They have a big table wherein walk-in guests can share. We ordered coffee and cakes. I got their cappucino. It was good. Liked their coffee. The cake was too sweet for me but my friend, who ordered the same cake, really liked it. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll like their cakes. I'm hoping to come back here to come try their other dishes. The food of the couple seated in front of us (shared table) looked appetizing.

If you're searching for a carbonara that'll impress, this is the place! Truly, it's the best carbonara I've ever tasted. I also tried a pasta with truffle and porcini, and while it was delicious, it didn't quite reach the level of that carbonara. I glanced at the burgers and they looked fantastic, though I haven't tasted them (yet). And the service shouldn't go unmentioned: incredibly attentive and friendly. Without a doubt, a place to return to. Make a note of it, you won't be disappointed!

A quaint place serving delicious breakfast, fresh fruit juice and hot/cold drinks. The service was quick and the ladies serving breakfast were polite yet friendly and definitely service with a smile. This might have been my first experience at Stanjata Cafe but it shall definitely not be my last!

09/21 Back again post Pandemic. Menu tweaked - some great additions. Still the same super service, excellent flavours and perfectly judged dishes expertly cooked. Worthy of any capital city. Malta at its (rare) best. Unmissable!

Back again! Continues to deliver. “Proper” food ( that is: well-sourced, well-cooked, NOT the usual catering wholesaler’s tasteless stuff).

It’s all about ingredients - and not spoiling them. Adrian has really trained everyone well. Lovely staff friendly but not ‘in your face’. And he really knows about food!

The place is young-at- heart (but not that young or there would be no point in cooking well!).

It’s stylish and modern. I’ve brought my boss, I’ve brought my mates. Everyone is welcome, everyone...

My partner and I had the avocado salad (amazing), a double espresso and a latte, both were very good. There was an issue with the latte, which was corrected with no questions asked.

We returned the next day because we really enjoyed it the first time! I had the pulled pork pasta and an americano, which was delicious. My partner had the butternut squash salad which again was very very tasty and a latte. Portion sizes are perfect, you get excellent value for money with top quality ingredients. I finished off my meal with a banoffee pie, which was superb.
