Busy Bee Cafe Imriehel — Restaurant in Birkirkara

Last night me and my family came to eat at Busy Bee Imriehel as we are regular costumers there and had went plenty of times before but yesterday we were appalled by the service we had received. We were there at 8.30 and had to wait to be seated as there were a lot of people and thats perfectly understandable… we got seated at 9.00. When they got us the cutlery the just slammed them on the table and not pass them out got our menus and ordered. When we got our meals the next waitress comes and asks us to order dessert and they will serve it now not after eating because they were rushing!! Never had i been in a restaurant and had them serve us dessert as soon as we got our food its absurd!! We had denied taking dessert and continued with having our meal and unlike everywhere else they didnt wait for all of us to be finished to take our plates but the waiter stayed behind us while we were eating and as soon as someone finished she took the plates one by one. After she took all the plates she immediately gave us the check as if to make us rush to go pay and we didnt go immediately we maybe waited a minute just for food to settle but that wasnt enough. I recently had the opportunity to visit Busy Bee Coffee Shop in Imrihel-Birkirkara, and what an opportunity it was! I walked in and right away felt a sense of belonging. Instantly, my mood was boosted with the scent of fresh coffee, and I knew that I was in for a treat.

They have created a menu that features different coffee types, teas, and pastries that will suit every palate.

I went with a cappuccino and a piece of their homemade carrot cake, which was delicious. The cappuccino has an intense, full-bodied flavor, while the cake is moist and well-seasoned.

What puts Busy Bee on a different level is their awesome service. The staff would be polite, attentive, and grateful to every customer, making them feel as if they were special.

They were competent in what they were selling and provided commendable suggestions.

The ambiance is warm and ideal for a nice quick cup of coffee or just spending a nice afternoon with friends. The place has a nice atmosphere with comfortable chairs and many nice details that allow you to feel like it is your home away from home.

All-in-all, Busy Bee Coffee Shop is a treasure in Birkirkara. You don’t have to be a coffee lover to enjoy this place, even if you just want to relax in an attractive...

This is my third time here but my first for dinner and it would be my last surely, this place is for coffee and cake or sweets only. It was a disasters dinner, we ordered baked macaroni we got macaroni with bolognese with beef and pork meat, we sent back because my daughter doesn't eat meat, the waiter suggested panini with tomato sauce, 5 minutes later he comes with vegetables lasagna, i asked where is the panini he said that would take long to cook so I bought this instead!!! I thought it might be good and we can't wait for another dish to come but it turns out a microwave heated and wasn't nice so no one ate it was left on, the beef wrappe was so soggy and unseasoned. I don't think they have a chef at that time of the night 7pm!! Because the salad wasn't nicely presented. Things probably ready earlier on the day and food just heated and served to customers. The other thing they tried to charge us for the returned macaroni dish and was added to our bill but was refunded when I noticed. On my 2nd visit I was over charged and had to check my bill because it was very high and got refunded, so always check your bill.
