THE best tasting experience in Malta! We've been most fortunate to enjoy Rebekahs twice during out visit to Malta this year. We've enjoyed both the tasting menu and the Al A Carte; you must go here, if it's the only restaurant you visit during your stay in Malta. We were welcomed back in our 2nd visit by not only the staff, but the head chef himself! Tasting menu: we opted to have the additional beverage pairing. Francsico, the sommelier, described each wine that would accompany out course, informing us of its origin, scent and taste and how to drink it with the food. This may sound pretentious, but his knowledge and friendly manner was more than welcomed. Al a carte: i never knew an egg could taste soo good until i had the slow cooked hens egg starter. Phenomenal is an understatement. I chose the best place to try veal for the first time, as it was succulent and well paired with the French green beans and truffle sauce. All of the staff are amazing; attentive, friendly and happy to chat with guests. I must call out Francsico again, as when trying to decide a drink to end our meal, he gave advice and offered tasters to suit our preferences. If you are looking for a truly special meal, whether local to Malta or on holiday, please give Rebekahs your business. I can promise you won't be disappointed!!

We stumbled across this restaurant Sept ‘21 and decided to try it. We were amazed at the level of service and the quality of every dish! They recommended great wine to go with the food. Not normally chardonnay lovers we discovered the ISIS Chardonnay on their recommendation and were very impressed. The sashimi on the Menu was exquisite... but then so was everything we ate. We went twice during our week long stay in Malta and Andrew Vella the chef couldn't do enough for us. His attention to detail is spot on and he has a great team behind him. It won't be long before this is a Michelin starred restaurant so don't hesitate to dine here if you can. Thank you Andrew for your recommendations and the time you gave us explaining the dishes. We will miss Rebekah's very much! Dining at your restaurant was the highlight of our holiday!

This restaurant is a real hidden gem and I recommend you make the time to go here. Firstly, the building itself, inside, is so romantic and cute. It's an old converted town house and has so much charm. The staff and service was better than I've had at much more expensive and upmarket restaurants in London and around the world. They're a real credit to the place. Lastly, the food. The food absolutely blew me away. The quality and care that goes into each dish was phenomenonal. This place, if it doesn't already, deserves a michelin star. It well out performs the restaurant down the road with a michelin star already and for a better price. Our meal, including starter, main, dessert and a mid range bottle of wine for 2 came to €155. Outstanding value. If you only have time to go to one restaurant on your trip, make sure it is here.

What an incredible place! A group of six of us ate in the courtyard within the restaurant which is definitely worth asking to sit in as it’s a magical setting within an incredible restaurant. The service from start to finish was impeccable but not over the top. The amuse bouche of a cheese profiterole and potato veloute were a great sign of things to come. We ordered a range of starters all which were incredible, the risotto and cannelloni were my personal favourite. I had veal for my main course which was so tender and like all dishes had carefully thought out accompaniments which elevated the dish. The cooking was inspired so full compliments are deserved to the chef but the entire experience from start to finish makes it a must try! I’m sure with cooking like this the restaurant will go from strength to strength.

Absolutely outstanding food from the tasting menu. Impeccable service from the moment we entered including being happy to fit the speed of the menu to our preferences. That perfect balance of friendly, respectful, thoughtful, momentous and “special”. Great wine list including local, everything from sensibly priced to expensive, and staff knowledgable about it. Really pretty venue, nicely lit and comfortable courtyard. The icing on the cake was the chef popping out to talk to us about his food, presumably because we’d picked the tasting menu. We’ve dined at many Michelin Star (one and above) restaurants. I’m genuinely surprised Rebekah’s don’t have one yet. Go before they do and everyone wants to go! I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

If it was possible to give 6 stars, they would get it! To quote my wife; Wow, wow, wow! Rebekah’s is hidden away in the streets of Mellieha, and its a small Scavenger Hunt to find this «taste buds»-treasure! The service and location is all you could ever ask for, and the staff was some of the nicest we have ever met at a Michelin restaurant - the sommelier, manager and head chef all stopped by our table for a nice chat! And the food: I had the tasting menu, and it was a genuine experience - just look at the pictures! And do the wine pairing, they really know what they are doing - creative and fun pairing! My wife was pregnant, and they managed menu alternatives in a very comforting way. A wonderful evening!
