Becky's Kitchen — Restaurant in Naxxar

Pancakes were okay, not exactly cheap for the portions. Hersheys pancakes were good but a bit too sweet, with the pancake itself quite heavy. The blueberry and maple pancakes were lighter and more plain. Could have done with some icing sugar or more blueberries on top. The coffee was average, about the same as any other cafe in Malta. Lactose free milk was offered upon request. The service was lackluster, with the person behind the counter seeming unimpressed and untrained, however quite nice. The middle aged man making the coffee was a bit rude, interrupting the person taking our order and correcting them mid-sentence. He gruffly told us to wait for our coffees before taking a seat upstairs, and then only gestured to a general eastern direction when asked about sugars. Sugars, stirrers etc were all behind a glass sheet on the counter, presumably placed so that the server would hand the customers what they needed. Unfortunately, we were left rummaging for sugars ourselves. A small electronic buzzer went off when our food was ready, and we were able to pick this up from the counter. The seating upstairs was small and nothing fancy, plastic chairs and tables. Newspapers plastered the walls for an interesting effect. The stairs were quite uneven, however the lower floor of the shop was relatively accessible. A well-angled ramp led to a wide area in front of lower than average, but still high for someone in a wheelchair, counters. The bathroom was small and definitely inaccessible, with a narrow door under the staircase and just enough space to turn around. Soap was available, albeit watered down. The young person behind the counter was kind enough to tell me where the light-switch was before entering. Overall, the food was good but lacking anything special that justified the prices. The staff seemed overworked with little to no experience in customer service or catering. The atmosphere was uninviting and unappealing. Perhaps this place is better suited for take-aways. I did not try any savoury food thus am unable to comment on it...

My experience here it wasn't the best definitely i will not come back. Number one customer service is terrible not friendly second the order took to long to came out i had to go and ask for my order like 30 minute's after when the barman went and check took 10 minutes more to bring my food that i took to my table and it was cold. I am really sorry mb it wasn't the best day for the barman but customers deserve some respect. And yes definitely i totally agree with everyone here the price is to high for the portion that they serve. And for last and not less the bkf it was horrible...
