Le Bardo Restaurant — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

It's not my first time at Le Bardo. I did came twice. First time was a good experience, the second time, was the worst experience ever. The boy they hired to serve the guest was never made for the job. First, did not even dress well and second know nothing about the menu. But now it's another story. The girl they hired this time Adriana did her job very well. About the food, I only ate the Bol Renverser and it was fantastic. The sauce was nice, the beef, the chicken was well cooked. The egg on the other hand mine was half cooked, my friend's was well cooked and my wife's was not so well cooked; the yellow part I mean. Now the best part the prawns, it's way bigger than that at An-noor restaurant and I loved it so very much. 5 star on this part. Conclusion, 5 star generally. Atmosphere 5 food 5 and service 3,why is that food took too long to come to table 46 minutes and it was only main course. I think they need more staff in cuisine. There was a big table but hey we had only main course. Anyway good upgrade. Hello. I came again and am disappointed. Too expensive and portion is not good. The chicken crispy is not what I expected. It's nothing. Didn't really know if I was eating chicken. Portion is very little and there's not enough chicken. Fried rice not that tasty and portion is little as well. I guess I changed my mind, I'll never...

Worst experience ever. We waited around 45 mins to get our starters. The main course was a nightmare - very small portions at expensive prices. The curry had no taste at all and it had a lot of colouring just to appear delicious. You also have to buy your naan or rice seperately. We ordered garlic naan and cheese naan but got some pieces of butter naan. By the time they bring your rice or naan the curry is already cold. Also if you order 2 or more portions of rice you have to order it seperately - we ordered 2 portions of rice and they brought a small bowl and says both portions are in the bowl. The supposedly "thai rice" was very bad and the meat was hard (had to throw it away). Finally we had to go have dinner again at home 😕 First and last time - will...

Extremely poor service..we order we had 2 orders,after nearly one hour we did not get our order...they did not even complete our orders..we only got one order as take away.....they are rude and very arrogant..the staff member were extremely not welcoming.. My kids were hungry..imagine u only had 2 orders..and nearly one hour we still did not have our orders..only when we were about to go then the food miraculously was ready..not to mentioned only one order was ready..the other we did not get it..they did not even said sorry for not completing our 2 orders.. Very very unprofessional as a restaurant.. Poor service quality.. Le bardo in the beginning was good..but now.. its not the same.. It's definitely my first and last time...would not recommend...
