On the 21st of April 24, I took my family for lunch in your restaurant.
The choice was based on past experiences as well as the quality of the food.
I don't do online reviews as I don't like the feeling of blackmailing in order to obtain free stuffs.
However, I decided to do so as I wanted to offer you this review as a gift for future issues as I feel that our situation was wrongly dealt with.
We entered the restaurant and were taken to a table outside.
Order was placed at 13h58, not a big or complicated one. Pork ribs and chips for our daughter and two steak for me and my wife plus the drinks, generally We don't take desserts but this time we gave it a try.
We got our drinks rapidly, but the food did arrived only after we asked after 45 minutes. In the meantime waiter who took our order never came to see if we had everything we ordered, despite he was turning around all the time but did seemed to avoid looking at us.
After I went to ask at the desk the plate of our daughter arrived thanks to the kindness and professionalism of a waitress .
However we waited again and my daughter ended up sharing her food with her pregnant mother.
The food eventually arrived , as usual the food was very good , but the situation was wrongly handled due to the lack of attentiveness of some waiters.
Again we finished our dishes and no body came to ask if they could remove the empty plates and if we wanted something more. My wife decided to go and cancel the desserts and we wanted to leave after such a bad experience .
The dessert eventually arrived minutes later despite we cancelled it.
Someone who seemed to be the responsible came to speak to us. It seemed that our order was lost in the kitchen something like that .
Apologies presented and as service recovery we were not charged for the dessert that we cancelled!!!!!!???????
Apologies presented ok, but this did not override the disappointment, it did little to redeem the restaurant for spoiling our experience.
On top of that , you should find a solution for the number of flies that give you company while waiting for a forgotten order.
You should train your staff to be more attentive to your customers.
Like this lady Vashtini ( I apologise if her name was wrongly written), but she was the only one trying to give her best to your guest.
I think that she was a rare daylight on this rainy day in your restaurant.
Staff should learn the word SERVICE RECOVERY in all its dimension.

Read moreHello! First of all, we were welcomed properly by the staff, who immediately looked for our table. Once seated however, the state of the table itself (inside) was notably disturbing; the wood was sticky, probably because of the humidity and inadequate cleaning used. Even though, it was uncomfortable, the good smell of food and somehow cozy atmosphere contributed into us, staying and waiting for our dishes.
We waited for about 35 mins, well it was relatively crowded on that day and we can understand. The drinks served were great and of generous amount, the mocktails had a fresh taste and the juice was homemade. Once served, the food itself was good, the fried onions and chips were still hot and crispy; our burgers were also fine. We took a chocolate brownie, it was delicious!
Our main concerns were the cleanliness of the tables and the corners on the floor. At some point also one of the staff climbed a ladder to do some work, while we were still having our desert. We have no clue whether it was necessary and urgent, but it was not safe and hygienic as anything from the ceiling could fall in our plates. And well, it's the basic of hospitality to at least wait for the customers to leave before doing those things.

Read morewe had the worst dining experience yesterday at Spurs Bagatelle! if there was a zero would have given that we understand it's Saturday evening , other restaurants were also full we waited at 8.30 , got seated at 8.50 . placed our order . since we expect some delays, my daughter & I went shopping. Half an hour later we came back, only drinks & starter Nachos served. I had to ask the waitress to at least bring the food for my 6 year old son first. After 10 mins , he was served while we continue to wait. we kept asking where's our food & at almost 10 pm , 9.50 pm a waiter came & told us that for our sides unfortunately they run out of chips & whether we wanted to change to salad ! can you imagine we waited from 8.30 to almost 10 pm only then they prepare our food & don't have our full orders!!!! we decided then to leave & wait no more. The manager we spoke & complained to didn't even apologise, only proceeded to charge us for the drinks which we didn't even finish & the starter .
