This is the ultimate and best food i have had in bacalar and mexico. It is made with love. You can feel the culture and the heritage in every bite. These meals don’t have nothing to prove. They feel like your grandmother’s cooking. It is very cheap considering the quality - 120 pesos per generous meal.

That’s a family place and grandma is the chef. She cooks home meals every day. My friends had to choose from two chicken options. I told her that I’m vegetarian and I can’t eat it. She immediately reacted - I will cook for you! See pic. Every meal automatically goes with a soup, a cold drink, hot tacos.
