Tonight was our fourth time here, but first one in last 8 months and unfortunately, we didn't have the experience we expected and changes were evident in overall restaurants’ atmosphere.

This used to be our favorite spot in Cabo but service and menu has changed (prices way up, options down). To start, we were seated at a small table that they called intimate, but was covered in leaves on the furniture and had no view - as we sat down, there was black soot flying around and we didn't even have napkins provided, nor did we see our waiter for 10 mins, when we asked waiter he just said there are many chimneys and took 2 minutes to get us a small paper napkin (the nicer material ones no longer provided?) - so apparently this is considered normal but my shoulders and chest, clothes were covered and my husbands tan jeans and cream sweater — could have put up an umbrella over us.

We ordered the burrata that we always get, and it came out cold, we were warned the serving dish was very hot, but it was warm at best - the cheese did not melt (this is what’s supposed to happen from past few times we had it) and was not the same experience. We also got the bean tamal, it was a good mole but not worth the price. We also got the shrimp entree (must peel yourself has tail and legs attached and made super messy) and catch of the day (good flavor but comes with no sides and none on menu to order), both were very small servings and after spending $250 - still hungry, covered in soot, and would no longer recommend this as one of the must do spots in Cabo.

It was our anniversary and nothing was done to celebrate us.

Resort prices but not the resort service - can get much more in area at other spots.

Also, they had fireplaces but were told they...

Cool spot offering good eats, yummy libations and great service……with a view of the town.

A friend recommended this place so we dined here on our last night in Cabo. Upon arrival, it didn’t look too busy, but there are layers to this restaurant. There’s the bar downstairs, then upstairs there’s two open areas; one overlooks the town and the other is a quieter area.

Food is really good. I actually thought it was a farm to table concept, but our server said it was not. Didn’t matter bc the food tasted fresh and was definitely made of good quality ingredients. Isabel was our initial server, and she had help from a gentleman whose name I forgot. Both were super friendly, funny and very attentive.

My party all had the same entrees (lechon) and I had the fettucine with braised short ribs; both very good. We shared the burrata and kampachi apps; both a MUST; ask for more bread to soak up that deliciousness from the burrata. For dessert, the gals got the espresso martini (one of the better ones I’ve had) and we shared the pear crumble. Everything was GOOD!

Would definitely go back for another taste.

Please note the 1000+ spend per person is based on PESOS so about $90 usd per person. Worth it...

Family of three had a late Friday night dinner on the rooftop. First off the setting is gorgeous and contemporary. Nice ambiance music but our table was right next to an outdoor speaker so was quite loud.

Note this is a very upscale place and prices reflect so. Also menus were digital so asked for actual menus which we were given. Menu has extensive wonderful cocktails (one of the highlights of the night) and 8 appetizers and 8 entree options.

Dishes were well explained and presentations were nice. Quality of food was good. Want to give this place 5 stars but just can’t.

We ate family style and shared 2 apps and 2 entrees

Burrata salad with beets and toast, very good but asked for a few more toast and was charged for it on the bill

Sliced steak over charred bone marrow, okay as steak was way over salted

Grilled octopus with crème corn for entree was over grilled and soft

New York steak entree was awesome with a beet reduction, large portion

Just finishing our entrees and told kitchen was closing (it was 10:30pm) and asked if we wanted to place a dessert order so we passed.

Three cocktails, a lemonade and couple bottles of water and total bill with tip and tax $190.

Don’t know if we...
