De Pasada Cafe — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Locals joint on a busy intersection, easy to find parking early morning. The Customer Service is very profesional, I was amazed by the Barista’s good manners and clear detailed offering of their baked goods. She went above and beyond telling me about their cookies and sweet breads, muffins, cakes, great assortement and they all looked tasty. Did not try them. They have ready made shredded beef Burritos and Empanadas. They looked soggy, made a couple of hours ago perhaps, like the ones you find at the corner store counter, kills hunger and good to go when on a hurry or as a snack. The burrito has lots of potatoes, red spicy sauce, very good taste, not much meat but wanted another one, good sign 😉 but nothing in the world beats a freshly wrapped Carne Deshebrada Burrito nor a deep fried crisped to Perfection Empanada. Nothing compares. For those jewels, are rare to find and I know where. I had a Latte with Coconut Milk and got a Burrito. Latte is strong as I like it, they had Turbinado sugar and forgot to ask for Stevia. Next time 😉 Spent $120 plus tip.

Es una cafetería que ofrece bebidas frías y calientes como frappes y café Molas, al igual que espresso. Venden tortas de milanesa de res y desterrada de res, pastel de zanahoria, a veces tienen muffin de chocolate. Venden burritos en mayoría de las veces. Tienen 4 mesas con sillas y un espacio de barra que mira hacia el BANORTE y su estacionamiento. Se ubica en la dividida del semáforo de Tacos Rosy y el banco Banorte. Tiene sombra y es muy fresco a ésta hora de la tarde para disfrutar una bebida fría. Lleven sus botellas reusables!!! Desafortunadamente usan vasos de plástico para servirles los frappes y vasos de unicel Delgado para bebidas calientes!!! Hay que llevar sus vasos o contenedores de líquidos reusables...

Soy fiel amante de la Tapioca y cada vez que sé que hay en algún lugar me emociono. Hoy (ya tenía varios días de querer ir), al fin pude. Pedí un Frappé de coco (bebida del mes, decía el anuncio). Se veía delicioso, sin embargo, lo más importante que es la Tapioca está dura. Yo creo que no la dejan hervir bien o la compran de oferta o de plano nunca han probado p hecho tapioca antes porque no, no me gustó. El sabor de la bebida es bueno, el servicio y la actitud de los chicos, excelente, pero yo iba especialmente por la tapioca, así que no... Esta vez no me...
