Kahe Sushi — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

This was some of the worst sushi I have ever had. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and edamame on UberEats. With new restaurants, I always get one of the most basic rolls to try first and if they get that right, I'll branch out. Glad I went that route with Kahe. The roll had cream cheese in it with poke sized chunks of tuna on top. Okay, that's on me, I shouldn't have assumed it would be the typical roll but it was gross nonetheless. They also sent more of a ponzu sauce, no soy sauce, no ginger, no wasabi. The edamame was super charred and came with some sort of sprouts on top (alfalfa?). Well, how disappointed we were, in a couple ways. First, we were told the sushi was good, and while one roll was decent the rest of the numerous we sampled left us all wanting. Second, two out of the four of us ended up vomiting and/or having diarrhea for a couple days after eating this. Another of the group woke the next morning with stomach cramps and queasiness.

We were visiting downtown San Jose Del Cabo for the day. On the way back to our hotel, we found this restaurant. It's pretty trendy and the ambiance was very nice (complete with cherry blossoms decor). I was amazed at the folks eating at the restaurant - mostly local.
