Nely and everyone and everything was perfect except for the arrogant lady from the photography department
We were a group of 3 and we booked the Dolphin Encounter experience for today. Everything and everyone was perfect except for the lady from the photography team, who almost completely ruined our experience with her impatience and arrogance.
The Dolphin lady Nely was fantastic! She is not only very professional but also really passionate! This is not something I’d take for granted because it’s not easy at all to be passionate even when doing something repetitive with the customers every day. Needless to say, the dolphin Kobe was adorable and we had great time with her.
Everything was just perfect until this lady from the photography department showed up and almost ruined our entire experience. We were negotiating for a better price for the photos with a young lady who was quite patient, then she showed up, being not quite polite from the begging was speaking in a very arrogant manner, telling us that’s the best deal, take it or leave it. I asked her a few times if she is the supervisor and she said no, but she was trying to override the deal the other lady gave us. I told her that I have quite some followers on a China based socia media where a lot of people are looking for trip advices, and somehow she misunderstood what I was saying and thought I meant to file a complaint there and she said “I know you people are doing that but I don’t care.” After explaining that I meant to say I am happy to advocate for this place and the service, I was just so surprised to hear that she was saying they don’t need such advertising. What an arrogant person from a service provider! She could have said it in a much nicer way.
If it were not due to this lady, this would be a 5 star rating for sure, and I feel bad for having to leave a 3-star rating simply due to one person.
If the team is reading this: I didn’t ask for the lady’s name but she was the eldest among all the females in the photograph department and is likely in her 50s or 60s. Your team need her to not directly interact with customers because she obviously is very good at ruining one’s experience with only...
Read moreThey say a picture is worth a thousand words and in this case that is true. I cannot begin to express what an incredible experience this was. Ali was our dolphin, and Jose Luis our trainer. Both were exceptional! We opted for the experience which included interaction with the dolphin AND time swimming in the water with him. That was a good choice. Ali was very sweet and gentle with us while we were in the water with him. We were able to take a ride on his belly either above water or below; they gave us a choice of one or the other. If you opt for below water, you need to be ok holding your breath for 15 seconds, and not have ear problems as the dive is down a number of feet - so you feel the pressure of the water for some seconds before riding to the surface again. I have fear of deep water but decided to overcome and do the underwater option. Was glad I did it. The highlight was giving Ali a hug towards the end. Just look at the picture - words fail. For me personally, it brought tears of joy to my eyes. I’ll never forget it. Yes, they take photos and videos of your experience and yes, they are an additional purchase at the end of it all (it will be a couple hundred US dollars), but this was one photo package I was happy to purchase. It would be dangerous to human and dolphin alike if phones were allowed near the water and there would be no way to get good quality photos and videos like the ones your dedicated photographer gets. It’s an experience that requires one to be present 100%. Knowing that, one must simply decide beforehand that they will graciously resist the photo package at the end, OR come prepared with budget enough for the photos and have beautiful pictures and videos of a transcendent experience. Jose and our photographer were awesome, kind, hilarious, and professional. Ali looked well cared for and healthy too, which was important to me. Truly a wonderful experience and a dream come...
Read moreSwimming with dolphins in Cabo was truly one of the most magical and heartwarming experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely welcome and at ease. The entire facility was beautifully maintained, organized, and clearly dedicated to the health and happiness of the dolphins, which was incredibly important to me.
Our trainer was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the dolphins. Before getting in the water, we were given a thorough introduction that taught us about dolphin behavior, how to interact respectfully, and what to expect. It was clear they truly care about both the animals and the guests.
The experience itself exceeded every expectation. Getting in the water and having one-on-one interaction with these intelligent, playful, and gentle creatures was absolutely surreal. I got to swim with the dolphin, hold onto its fins as it pulled me through the water, and even receive a sweet dolphin kiss. They were so well-trained and seemed to love interacting with people.
What really stood out to me was the deep bond between the trainers and the dolphins. It didn’t feel like a show or a gimmick — it felt like a respectful, educational, and heartwarming connection. My family and I were smiling from ear to ear the entire time. It’s something I will never forget.
The photo package they offered was not reasonable and very very expensive $600.
If you’re visiting Cabo, do not miss this. Whether you’re with family, friends, or even solo, this is a once-in-a-lifetime activity that will leave you feeling uplifted, connected to nature, and full of joy.
Thank you to the entire team for making this such a safe, inspiring, and...
