September 7th 2025 ❌️Reply to owner: Thank you for your apology. I appreciate your willingness to make amends. However, I do want to clarify a few points. No, you did not greet us at any point, which contributed to our feeling unwelcome, since you seemed to be greeting the other patrons. Additionally, while our server did apologize for the mistake with the salad, she did not offer to exchange it for what was originally ordered. I nevertheless told her that the salad was fine. Upon receiving the check, we were surprised to see a charge for the erroneous item instead of that which was ordered (Peach Burrata MX$380 vs. Salmon & Arugula MX$330). I note that my husband recollection of the above points is the same as mine. He also noted a certain impatience on the part of the server as we were working toward ordering additional items. It was at that point that we decided to request the check and head back to our hotel. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I accept your apology. I hope that in the future, your establishment can work on providing a more welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
August 15th 2025 ❎️I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant in San José del Cabo. Despite the lack of air conditioning, we decided to sit down and eat. A kind stranger, who seemed to be the husband/boyfriend of the woman who appeared to be the owner/manager, brought us a fan to cool us off, which we greatly appreciated. However, it became clear that the owner was treating us differently from other customers. She would stand up to greet new customers and bring them fans, but didn't seem to acknowledge or welcome us in the same way. The food was okay, but the waiter brought me the wrong salad order. Given the treatment, we decided not to order more food, as it was clear we weren't welcome. If you have dark skin, I'd strongly advise against visiting this place. I'll definitely share my experience with friends who visit. The people of San José del Cabo have been wonderful, but this restaurant was an unfortunate exception.
Read moreThis was our last night in San Jose Del Cabo, so we wanted to go out for a memorable last meal and Limonetto did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the service excellent! Rudy was our waiter and passionately helped us make informed choices for wine and menu items. The arugula salad tasted like it was freshly picked from the garden, the salmon delicate and oranges a lovely complement. The beef tartar and faccacio yummy. The authentic italian oven fired pizza was generous in size with fennel sausage and mushrooms. We enjoyed the ambiance and decor, a massive tree the centre piece, surrounded by a trellis with hanging lemons. If you are looking for something different from the fabulous Mexican cuisine of Cabo, try an authentic Italian experience at Limonetto. You...
