Simply exceptional service, delicious food, and quiet local atmosphere. We just spent our 30 year wedding anniversary in Loreto and dined here for our anniversary dinner. Yaser was our host, waiter, bartender, and I would not doubt if he was the chef as well. Yaser was the BEST!!!!! We had the seafood special for two which included lobster, crab, scallops, shrimp, clams, and fish in a butter, garlic, white wine sauce. Absolutely delicious!!!!! The second floor restaurant has a talapa thatched roof giving the place a very rustic beach-like feel. Yaser greeted us and in just a few short minutes we felt as if we knew him for years. I knew right away this was going to be a gem. Yaser even personalized our flan desert with a nice chocolate happy anniversary message on the plate and a candle. During the nine days we stayed in Loreto, we ate at this restaurant for three dinners!. The seafood was the freshest you could hope for! We got to know the manager a little, Yasar, and he was the perfect host! We asked him if he ever serves Pargo (Red Snapper) on his menu. His response was, "If you want that, I will get it for you"...and that he did! Our last night there we had a feast of fresh snapper, with four delicious sauces! It was one the best meals we have ever had in our many trips to Mexico! I felt the prices were very good, for the quality of the food this restaurant offers. This is a don't miss on your dinner...

Playa Blanca was the best dinner we had in Loreto. The service was superb, led by Yassar; he was attentive, energetic and fun. The food was thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail and a range of flavors. Overall the menu was diverse and Yassar was still able to accomodate our needs. The prices were competitive with other restaurants in town. In essence, Playa Blanca was a great value for the quality and price. In addition, my wife and I enjoyed the ambiance and experience a great deal. We ate there twice in our one week stay in Loreto. Check it...
