Dairy Queen is a California ice-cream business that never disappoints. The place is kinda hard to find if you don't know where it's at. But its great to get away from the traditional raspado and paletas for a hot day. The Blizzards are very good and the ice-cream cake is even better. The staff is always courteous and prompt it has a spacious room with booths for couples or friends and family the view is pretty much the street but you don't even notice since the ice-cream is so good. The parking is free behind the drive through they have but gets hectic due to a hotel next door but its free and no need to worry about your car. Son helados muy sabrosos, su sabor es el de un clásico helado, sus precios son de medianos a altos pero bien valen la pena por su sabor. Mis favoritos son el blizzard, especialmente el de frutos rojos aunque todos tienen muy buen sabor. Los pasteles de helado bien valen la pena, si se deshacen bastará meterlos al congelador y regresan a su consistencia. Lo único que no me ha agradado mucho son las malteadas, saben bien pero es como probar un helado semiderretido, realmente no parecen malteadas. La sucursal de Otay tiene estacionamiento pero hay compra sin bajar del auto; el local es algo gris, no es que esté sucio pero le hace falta color para darte ganas de quedarse en el local a disfrutar el helado. Por cierto, el sabor es igual al que venden en EEUU pero por la mitad del precio, es un helado con el sabor de antaño, en verdad...
