Farmer's Table Mx — Restaurant in Baja California

We came to eat brunch here because it was highly recommended. And after today I don’t know why it was. Yes the decorations and the concept is very nice and what not but the customer service was AWFUL! Waited over 10 minutes to get our drinks, our foods didn’t come out at the same time, and not once did our server come to our table to ask how everything was. Worst of all was that while all the servers were drinking their coffee or talking amongst them none of them had hospitality to ask if we were ready for the bill or needed anything else. We waited over 20 minutes to get our bill because the server whom we asked forgot to ask our server. A brunch that should have been nice, turned out to me something uneventful, our server (Karla, with red hair) was slow, doing other things besides attending to her tables and walking past us without asking us if we needed anything else. This was my favorite restaurant of this trip. We had dinner here a couple of times. The servers were helpful and polite. The food was delicious and served quickly. The first night I had the wild salmon and we shared some pizza as well as took some back to the room for later. Both dishes were great. The salmon was the best I’ve ever had and the creamed polenta was also delicious. The bread they served as an appetizer was just a good as everything else.

Outside the Quartz hotel up the escalator. LOTS of seating inside and outside. One side has a huge living wall. Ordered the octopus tacos, the split soup and a Farmers pizza. They give you complimentary bread and butter while you wait. The food has a very nice artistic presentation. The soup was very rich in flavor. The broccoli was the best. The tacos each have a different color & flavor tortilla. Each is filled with meaty octopus. Just incredible. We were so full we took the pizza to go.
