I was really disappointed with my experience at this Argentinian steakhouse. I ordered a T-bone steak well-done, but what I got was completely the opposite – it came out pink and bloody inside. If I specifically ask for well-done, I expect the kitchen to get it right, especially at a place that calls itself a steakhouse.
On top of that, the guacamole was very strange in taste – it didn’t taste fresh at all, almost like it had been sitting out or was made with poor-quality ingredients. Honestly, it was unpleasant and nothing like authentic guacamole should taste.
What made it worse was the price. For what I paid, I expected quality food and at least decent service. Instead, I left feeling like I wasted my money. The steak was undercooked, the guacamole was off, and overall the meal was absolutely not worth the price and at the end the waiter wasn’t so pleasant because I addressed the issues. I told him even thank you he didn’t even reply back. What a waste.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of better places where you can get a properly cooked steak and fresh food without...
Read moreTo my fellow Americans, please be advised that this restaurant is very tasty. I had "pollo emparillado" aka grilled chicken and it was delicious! The chicken breast was moist and had a good balanced taste to it. I also had Ravioli and it was amazing! However, despite the great comments I have for their food, I can't say the same for their service. The moment I walked in, I felt discriminated agaisnt the way I looked. Perhaps, I was not dressed to impress, however, never did I expected to be treated with such disrespect. The waiter seemed annoyed, bothered, and upset with my family and I asking him for food suggestions. We stayed in the hotel infront of this restaurant and we thought this place was the perfect place to dine, and convinient, plus I looked it up in googled it and has 4 stars. So please be advised that you may encounter this situation and may allow you to feel very...
Read moreDon't waste your pesos in this dump. OMG. The food was pathetically. Let's start with the decor. An outback steakhouse is much nicer.
Steaks start at about $30 us. A cheap sirloin steak that I get for $10 at outback steakhouse was $35 here.
They have some steaks for upward of a couple hundred dollars.
The corn empanada was actually quite delicious.
I ordered a baked potato that was not very good and I ordered a Caesar salad where this is your salad was invented in this city. The lettuce was old and wilted. It came in a very small bowl and it was super expensive for the little tiny bowl of salad.
Let's just say that I'm finishing off my meal going to Carl's Junior to get a milkshake because the deserts probably suck...
