This is a peculiar restaurant that can be surprisingly new and delicious if you are not already familiar with this style of Mexican food. Cancun is not known for Mexican food and the region offers a much more Caribbean style cuisine. however, because Cancun is not only an international destination but also a Mexican National destination for vacationers and newcomers alike, we are privileged to have Los Mero’s! So prepare yourself for a new toasty and grilled but “drowned” style meal! Keep in mind many dishes here come with a stew/broth that you will want to dip your torta, taco or quesadilla in. In fact you must! Or you will miss the intendeds richness of the entire meal.

I've been in Cancun for 5 days and have eaten here 3 times. Friendly staff, very willing to help non locals who don't speak the language, and give recommendations. Carnitas burrito was my favourite, but everything Intried on the menu eas delicious. Upon being seated they give you fresh fries corn tortillas, and a tower with a variety of hot sauces, fresh and grilled onions, cilantro, beans etc. I'm staying around the corner and will likely be back at least once more before...

I visited Mexico for two weeks, we ate in Guadalajara and Cancun restaurants and Im glad my daughter found this place because they have the best Mexican dishes, the taste is very authentic and is worth every penny. The manager was very attentive at our table and suggesting dishes. We tried the red posole and tortas ahogadas, the fired beans are the best. My daughter even went back for lunch the next day.
