Restaurante Playa Tortugas — Restaurant in Cancún

I'm not sure how this place was operating prior to the pandemic, but on a recent trip we went there on a whim, due to a random recommendation from one of the locals. First, the food is "ok" but too pricey for the "ok" factor, second they told me they charged a 7% credit card commission, but I was told this after the fact, and this is much higher than the 3 - 5% of 99% of the other restaurants in the area (e.g. highway robbery). Finally, I had ordered fried fish, a size of fish was shown and a price was given to me, but in the end what I got was much smaller and at the same price with the excuse that the frying process shrank the fish - sure, maybe 10% shrinking factor, but what I got was about half of what I was shown - this is obviously a 'bait and switch' scam. Recommendation: STEER AWAY and go to places like "El Timon de Cancun", you will pay less, and with a higher quality meal and...

Y despues de 1 minuto dice oh no es 660 pero pasa unos segundo y nos dice pero fueron 2 mesas y que son 1200 Nunca elejimos las mesas nosotros con una mesa estabamos comodos porque eramos 4 . We ate lunch twice at the Restaurant Playa Tortugas. The favorite menu items were the grilled fish fillet, ceviche (fish, shrimp, and octopus with diced onions and tomatoes), and guacamole.
