Our experience with this company from start to finish was a total disappointment and honestly waste of money and time. I booked this excursion on Saturday night for a Sunday morning 9:00am start time. Upon booking we received a receipt confirmation but never received details regarding pickup time, pickup location, or any details.
Since our card was already charged, we decided to get up at 8:00am and call the company in hopes we’d get in touch with someone to still make the 9:00am booking and NOTHING. My calls kept going to voicemail, no one would answer, and we were just out $300 dollars. We even tried looking for an address which we found, took an Uber there, just to find out it’s NOT the address to the location it’s just an address they used to register their company.
Finally at 10:00am someone from the company called and told me they were sorry but the 9:00am bus had already left and we would have to wait until the 1:00pm time slot. At that point we said fine as we had already been charged.
The next issue was the drive to this location. In the online description it states it’s a 30 minute drive from Cancun, that is absolutely false. It took us an hour and 15 minutes to get to this location. Upon arrival we could just see everyone’s reactions were full of disappointment. We talked to MULTIPLE other guests who arrived when we did and they informed us they were approached at their resort and were promised a location by the beach, let me inform you this location is NOT by a beach.
The horseback riding is done through a wooded trail not on a beach, the ATV rides take you through the woods to a cenote that is not crystal clear and there is absolutely nothing scenic about the drive there. 30/35 guests in our group were LIVID about the entire experience as it was nothing that was promised to them. When the guests approached the manager asking for a refund he stated “I will tell you one thing you’re not getting your money back”.
The only scenic part of the whole experience was the cenote located at this specific site. The water was crystal blue as the photos show and it’s in a cave so the experience was once in a lifetime, however, you’re in a cave so it’s primarily dark with some light and beware of bats.
Overall I’m super disappointed with this entire excursion and disappointed with all the reviews. This was the highest rated ATV experience and to be honest I would be giving this place 1/5 stars if it wasn’t for the cave cenote views. The staff were super unprofessional and this whole system is SUPER unorganized. It says this excursion is a 3.5 hour trip it took us a whole 7 hours from the point we left the resort to when we got back. Waste of time on our last...
Read moresuper unorganized, lots and lots and lots of hidden fees when you get there, and every activity is 5-10 minutes. booked the 5in1, here’s how it went:
horseback riding: we walked in a straight line and then turned around and walked back. i was literally on the horse for no more than 5 minutes.
zip lining: no view or scenery or anything. the person working there seemed like they didn’t wanna be there at all. no smiling no nothing. once u slide they immediately rush u to the next thing as if there busy when it was only 3 of us??
atv riding: i’ve been atv riding b4 and have loved it in the past. this was the only enjoyable part of the tour but it was still super short
food: food tasted ok. i was still hungry afterwards tho and if you want a drink u gotta pay.
wont bother with a pros and cons list cuz theres only cons.
cons: after paying $100 usd you’d think that you’re done, NOPE. each picture cost $10usd.. i’m talking PER picture. mind you they have you lock your belongings (phone) in a locker so you can’t take pictures. just robbery. this honestly made me feel sick like come on.
after providing u with the worst experience and service ever, they’ll walk around with a bucket begging for tips. literally follow u with it reminding u to “tip” so the tip doesn’t even seem optional anymore.
we started late and finished super early. we were done by 12 and had to sit and wait for the driver to come pick us up again at around 3:30. mind you they said he’d come at 2-2:30.
also, the driver didn’t bother even pulling up infront of my hotel when dropping me off. i said bye and was ignored, probably bc i didn’t tip him for wasting my time and ruining my day.
worst excursion ever. literally don’t waste ur time & money. go...
Read moreMy experience at the ATV and zip lining excursion was mixed. The ATV riding was disappointingly slow-paced, and the zip lining felt more suited for children. The only highlight for me was the exhilarating zip into the spring water!
Upon arrival, there was a constant push to upgrade every aspect of the experience, which became frustrating. Additionally, crucial information about needing a locker for the zip lining was withheld until the last minute. This lack of upfront communication was inconvenient and added unnecessary stress to the day.
The ATV excursion turned out to be much slower than expected, lacking the thrilling speed and adventure I had hoped for. While the scenery was picturesque, the leisurely pace didn't quite match the excitement I had anticipated.
Similarly, the zip lining experience felt overly tame and geared towards younger participants. The courses were basic, lacking the challenging heights and adrenaline rushes I enjoy in zip lining adventures.
Moreover, the host, Raul, displayed rudeness throughout the experience, which was disappointing and added to the overall negative impression.
However, the moment of zipping into the refreshing spring water was truly memorable. It offered a brief but thrilling rush of excitement, making up for the otherwise lackluster activities.
Overall, while the ATV and zip lining activities fell short of my expectations, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico offers a wide range of more exciting excursions. From thrilling water sports to cultural tours, there are plenty of options that provide a more fulfilling and adventurous experience.
